Hi everyone is it just me or is the 2.0TSi 220 more than 220bhp, the reason is on a slight hill yesterday it totally wiped the floor with a 3.0 Maserati Ghibli and I kind of wondered if Skoda have actually under estimated the power of this engine. If they have then at least it's under estimated it rather than over estimated it

The Octavia has got a face only a mother can love. I hope to god they don't put it on the Superb because that would be just stupid

Hi there just to add to this I got my car on Monday and couldn't register my Skoda Connect services until about 6pm but when I had done it and told the car the pin number it all seems to working as it should.

Hi guys I solved the problem and I'm a little red faced to admit what it was. But here goes, the button next to the parking brake switch wasn't lit so I pressed it and all is good. In my defence it's all new to me lol -
Hi everyone I got my new Superb 220 today and it is everything I thought it would be, however when we got home I assumed the handbrake would be put on when the car was switched off but mine wasn't the car started to roll slightly, I was wondering what I have to do to make it do itself. i was also wondering how everyone has their info system connected to take advantage of the full Skoda Connect apps I was wondering if my personal hotspot on my phone was enough or I did think about using a myfi device I have lay around somewhere, any help gratefully received.

Hi guys I'm picking up my new SEl 220 tomorrow at 10.30am and beyond excited and relieved to get rid of my current car. This might be a daft question so apologies in advance, but during the collection period should I check anything before leaving the dealers? I hope there would be nothing wrong with the car but apart from the obvious things I'd hate to miss something out, thanks in advance for any help.

Hi guys just a quick question my dealer has told me my car is in Germany, so my question is how long does it normally take to get from there to the dealer?
-
Slightly off topic but how big of an SD card do you need when you do the map updates?

Dog cage/guard for the hatch

Don't forget to get a flip out bumper protector too. I got one off Amazon for about a tenner -
Heated water jets waterjets, heatedHi everyone excuse me if this sounds a completely stupid question, but i was just wondering how you turn the heated washer jet's on and off. I'm not sure if they are on all the time or come on at a certain temperature. Ag

Hi there I ordered at the very beginning of July

Hi everyone, I apologise if this has been covered but I would appreciate some help. I have been told my car is going to built at the end of August and the dealer says it should be with them at the end of September if the build time stays as it is. My question is does that sound right to you and if not how long did you wait between build and deliver, I'm getting a business grey 220 SEL with a few options but not a sunroof or anything that would add a delay. My reason for asking is I want rid of my car asap lol. Any replies greatly recieved, many thanks. John

As already said the Jag is rather tight and if I'm not wrong it seemed to be a little narrow too. A shame really as it's a nice car but Jag cocked up on this one I think stay with a Supurb you'd just regret it after a month owning a Jag
-
I'd still go for the Supurb even if the price was close I don't like the fact that the Passat is saloon only, not everyone wants an estate but still wants the better packaging of a hatch.

Hi guys, so I was at the dealer today so my other half could see a few suburbs in different colours before we decided on a colour to order, while there I was told by the dealer that there is up to a 20 week delivery which I was concerned about because my car will be through Motability and my order date is around the 3rd of September, however he told me I could order the car today to secure a build slot in case of delays and when I got my paperwork I could go and finish my order on the Motability system. So upshot is I ordered a Supurb 220 SEL with a few options in business grey, originally we thought it would be black or moon white, I guess it goes to show when you see something in the metal it looks different to pictures. SO now roll on December 4 and then December 11 when it will be doing a road trip to Plymouth from Newcastle so I hope the comfort level is everything people say.
