tobrid started following Drivers electric seat problem
-
Superb Mk IV After my wife had driven the car recently none of the drivers seat functions worked but the passenger seat electrics still worked fine. I reasoned therefore that it could not be the fuse. As the drivers seat has a memory function I deduced that there must be a microchip in the circuit and that maybe this had got 'scrambled'. As there is power available to the seats, even when the ignition is off, I pulled the fuse, waited 10 minutes and replaced it thinking that this might 'reboot' the chip. EUREkA!

Currently have it on my Superb MkIII. Changed the battery and fine but re-occured two weeks later and on checking spare keys doing with them also. Will change the battery again and see what happens.

I have tried three different 32Gb devices now and with all it says the file is too large for destination drive???

I have been trying to update my Columbus satnav on my 2016 Superb mkIII, which require a 32bg SD card formatted to FAT32 and 4096 allocation size. I have spent significant money on 2 different cards and a flash drive none of which permit me to format to 4096 byte size. I am questioning whether it is still possible to obtain such a thing. Anyone else had this problem? Tony.

I can see that would not cause any problems. I am currently using 235/45r18 tyres on 'official' ET44 rims but I have acquired a cheap set of used ET46 rims on which I wish to put my 235/45 snow tyres. This would set the wheel centre line 2mm further in. I guess I need to crawl underneath and try too see how much clearance there is. Tony.

Does anyone know if 235/45 tyres on an ET46 rim (normally paired with 225/40 tyres) would foul the wheel arch on full lock? Tonjy.

Had the same problem with my Superb Mk3 and don't think the fluid was frozen since the washers worked as sson as I sprayed some de-icer on the nozzles.

My superb 3 (600 miles) on 18" Continentals seems quite intrusive noise on motorway and seems to come from off-side front. Does not sound like normal tyre 'rumble',bit more of a whine but responds to changes in road surface so guessing tyre related.

Road Noise Skoda Superb Mk 3
tobrid replied to Gerrri99's topic in Skoda Superb Mk III (2015 - 2023)
My Suprb 3 SE L at 400 miles has an irritating noise, related to the road speed, coming from the front O/S wheel. I don't think it is tyre noise but sounds more like the stone guard, behind the disc, resonating. The car is on 18" Continentals. On really smooth, low noise, tarmac the noise decreases sigificantly.
