MY19 petrol - no price available yet?
ms10 replied to redbuta's topic in Skoda Kodiaq MKI (2017-2023)
@BGB, nice. What colour is that, Business Grey or Silver? Btw, dealer told me today the new price lists for 1.5TSI are around 3-4 weeks away, and orders can be taken then. -
Not entirely sure if this review exactly relates to the new 1.5 TSI, worth a read though: http://www.motorreviewer.com/engine.php?engine_id=117

I got a puncture in the front left the other day. The tyre was completely flat due to a screw in it. Fortunately i noticed this as i was reversing out of the drive. However, there was no tyre pressure warning from the car. Shouldn't it have picked up that the tyre was fully flat?

I get many battery warnings. The dealer has three times checked the battery and claims it is just within acceptable threshold. The AA however came round and claimed it wasn't holding charge. Tbh, I'd rather pay to upgrade and replace it than go through the hassle of dropping the car off again. I also expect to get better mpg with a better battery as the alternator will be engaged less, plus stop-start would work more often

I'm thinking of upgrading the battery on my 2016 Octavia, and both ATS, National and KWIK-FIT stock the Platinum brand - which is their suggested model. Yet, I haven't been able to locate a single review anywhere online of Platinum batteries. Are they any good?

I've had countless battery warnings in my 2016 Octavia SEL 1.4 TSI. The battery is EFB. The dealer has tested it three times and says it's fine, so won't replace it. So, I'm considering buying a replacement, if only to avoid the constant hassle. All the online vendors advise that this model should have an AGM, yet I've read these two types of battery should not be changed for the other (here). Is this correct, or can I move seamlessly from EFB to AGM, assuming the car is re-programmed correctly?

I'm currently having issues with my Htc10 and Bluetooth, but I use the Tidal app The issues only appeared to start though after upgrading to Android Oreo. Oreo seems to be a buggy release

My Amundsen on my 2016 Octavia has suddenly starting behaving oddly when streaming music over Bluetooth from my Android mobile. About 1 second into each track the Amundsen is muted/paused. If I unmute, or increase the volume the music resumes. While in this paused/muted state, the music continues on my mobile. My phone is an HTC10, and recently upgraded to Android Oreo (8.0 and considered to be buggy). The app I'm streaming from is Tidal. I can Bluetooth to a speaker in the house from my phone without issue. I can stream to the car from the Google Play Music app without issue. I have disconnected and re-paired the phone. I have reset the Bluetooth settings in the car. Any thoughts or suggestions anyone?

Strangely, they came back after a long drive. Perhaps it was battery issues.

Thanks @SashaGrace. Where do I find that?

I have 2016 mk3 with Amundsen radio and satnav Yesterday, all the Dab stations suddenly appeared as unavailable. Local reception is fine, home radios working fine, nothing reported by the BBC. I've tried rescanning and switching to FM and back. Nothing helps. The firmware is not quite current. The previous version. But it was working fine up to 2 days ago. The issue is both with engine on and off, so is probably not a battery issue, though I am getting battery warnings in cold weather. Any thoughts anyone?

Thanks @Orville, succinct and the perfect post.

Well, I just retrieved the car from the dealer to be told the battery is at 75% health so can't be replaced on warrantee. What puzzled me however is that they told me that swapping my old EFL battery for an AGM one is simple to do and requires no reprogramming of the car, which contradicts much of what I've read here.

Has anyone used Halfords? Their prices seem good, but I'm a little concerned they won't have the expertise to reprogram a stop start car.

Yep. Engaged, during driving I see 14.9V. After an hour or two into a long drive the alternator will typically disengage to show 12.9V, which quickly degrades to 12.0V when off.
