  1. I have both, an octy vrs and a fabia vrs, the fabia just gives me a huge grin everytime i drive it especially playing with the paddle shift, the cabin space is decent for a small car likewise the boot, dont think you'l b dissapointed with the fabia!
  2. Pretty sure the black soot comming from the exhaust would give the game away.......
  3. Looks like the power steering fluid cap?
  4. I have both a fabia2 vrs and an octavia vrs tdi pd, my fabia is always my choice for a good thrash!!
  5. Youre car will naturally use coolant over time, assuming the coolant mix in youre car is strong enough you can top it up with some water!!
  6. I prefer the DSG to be honest, the flappy paddles r awesome to play with when give it some right foot!!
  7. Usually do use shell V power, but i live in a rural area and the TOTAL station down the road only does 95, so if i have to use it i can honestly say iv never noticed any difference in performance, slight drop in MPG though, however if u used 95 supermarket fuels i dare say there'd b more of a difference!
  8. Yup funnily enough mine has just started this!! Just turned 2000 miles on clock!
  9. The ipod kits available for your headunit r a bit pants in all fairness, my advice would be to buy an aftermarket headunit with pre-outs and ipod conectivity built in!!
  10. All DPFs will need replaced at some point as they turn the soot particles in to ash which stays in the filter so at some stage or another they all need replaced!
  11. PDs also need at least 15ltr of fuel in tank to carry out a regen, just incase anyones trying with next to no fuel! My light was on every week and it doesnt do town driving, had new sensor and software update, no fix, new injectors, no fix, now just had new manifold, EGR valve and new DPF filter itself, so fingers crossed this time!!
  12. mines had a new turbo a few month ago, new dpf sensor and software just recently, ran perfect till got the new injectors! sure there wasnt any underlying on mine to be fair! :S
