Another happy customer but on a vRS Tdi pD. Managed to get the small brass EGR pipe off enough from underneath (still terrible access) but managed enough to get the silicone pipe in. From above its impossible. Car has power low down the Rev range again. So happy! Only thing to note as I was so blind I wasn’t 100% sure it had gone to the turbo or the engine (risky but worked)
Thanks
Hi mate, what year and engine do you have?

Still struggling with access for this, has any one at all done it on the 2.0 TDI BMN engine. For the life of me I can't get into the hot side of the Turbo from the top or bottom, car has all the symptoms described previously so I'm sure this will help, I just cant get into it.....
Any ideas??

Hi all,
Can any one please point me in the right direction as to where this is located?
I’m looking at a 2008 Rs 2.0 TDI Bnm engine.
Thank you!

Please check my thread, this might be exactly why you've got water in your footwell now!! I'd put my money being on the drainage tubes, give them a squeeze, see if you get an outpoor of water, please reply if you do.
Hi mate, sorry for the late reply but this is exactly what it was. The vent end of the drain tube was completely gummed up!!!! I cleaned the tube out and no more water in the car, was a complete pain to dry the carpet out in the drivers foot well. Thanks for the help.

Has anyone done this to the 2.0 TDi RS engine in the Octavia? Ive got the 2008 model and for the life of me I cant work out where to insert the hose?? I’ve removed the hose coming from the air box to get more room to work but I still cant work out the next step!?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all, the emissions warning light and glow plug light recently lit up on my 08 RS. The glow plug light is intermittent. A friendly dealer plugged in his reader and I got the following codes, P2563 $07E8, the text below said Turbocharger boost control position, sensor A circuit range/performance.
I've been going in circles on google trying to determine if this a home fix or a garage job, has anyone come across it before and had any success??
Thanks in advance,

Hi all, I've got a 2008 RS wagon. I've owned it for three months without any major dramas. The car was parked on the drive overnight in the rain (heaviest on record for those playing in Western Australia) and when i came out this morning the drivers foot well was full of water.
Its been out in the rain before and I've never noticed a problem, as i drove off i could feel water dripping onto my shins from the lower dash area?
The only water ingress I've noticed before was a small drip from the sunroof after going through a car wash, front drivers side corner.
Any help or pointers greatly appreciated, I've tried the search function but not getting much joy. In fairness I'm using a work computer and it blocks a lot of stuff/functions.

Hi, yeah I'm running premium diesel and an additive, no change sadly.
