  1. I have a 67 sportline 190 4x4 hatch Dealer installed a front and rear dash-cams so cannot comment. Thought would of been nice to have on the stereo screen rather than a small part of the dash cam screen for reversing. Heated screen for me is a must have! The on on my superb is much better than the one on my 16 plate VRS TDI estate. I’ve got a tyre goo kit but looking to get a proper spare for it. Loverly car, found mine pre loved from Skoda with 12k on clock earliest in the year at a really good price.
  2. Hello Have others noticed with Columbus on a Mk3 Octavia it is taking longer for SmartLink to boot up and make connection with phone? I have a iPhone XS and each IOS update it seams to take longer. Is it just me and is there a fix? Thanks
  3. Doesn’t beat one of my band B flat basses taking his instrument around in the front seat of his mk1 mini. Also at the time the soprano cornet player had a Volvo XC90. Smallest instrument in the band in the biggest car in the band.
  4. The occty is fab for lower brass players I get cornet, tenor horn, awkward shaped French horn, baritone horn and euphonium. With associated stands in the boot of the estate. Then room for the players.
  5. Sticks on. With supplied foam sticky pads http://www.rearguards.co.uk/ have yet to cause it to dislodge despite my best efforts.
  6. Similar spec to mine on a 16 plate. Though with the 19” Extremes look great but Kerbs Bite! DSG is brill But with the Stop Start on, when you wake it up while at traffic lights etc it can be a bit rushed and “throws it into gear” bring a bit jerky then it’s really smooth. Really takes a lot of effort out of driving allowing you to relax Fab car lots of space! Much nicer then my 62 plate 1.6T 182 focus in Titanium X spec. Though I do miss it’s covert quickness. As on paper it’s 0.2 sec faster to 60 then the diesel VRS. But the missus has it now and loves it, much better than the Nissan Note she had. Worth getting the newer stereo for the apple car play intergration. Other phones do exist honest. Swallows stuff with with ease and with the roof bars makes taking bike or roof bid easy. Near me is a place where up you can rent them which was handy for a bike carrier for the summer hols this year. I have go a plastic boot guard to save the paint on the boot lip. It’s been worth it weight in gold. Found it via a link on the forum. im really please with my VRS and agree with the earlier comments.
  7. Another vote for the Goodyear asymmetric 3’s Having due to wear out of the original factory fit tyres and a puncture done all 4 tyres this month #ouchonthewallet as as mentioned above quieter and better handling. Also hopefully better rim protection for my 19inch wheels.
  8. Another vote for the dsg with the diesel VRS word of note with the stop start on it can be a little hesitant and jerky in to first as it tries and decides what to do if you want to move quickly. Just makes life so much easier! As my wife says it point and shoot type of driving.
  9. Thanks Everyone Rear Guard ordered in black to match the rest of the black pack on the car. Picture to follow when it arrives and fitted.
  10. Harder decision what colour would you have as my car is silver?
  11. Hello what do other VRS owners have to protect the rear bumper for getting stuff in and out of the boot? Ive had a few near misses getting the bikes in and out. I have a had a quick internet search but wanted to know what others use.
