  1. Corrosion under the rails, hard to notice unless your at the right angle.
  2. It’s turned out to be a fab little hauler, I used a box on it for the past two holidays to Ireland and Scotland.
  3. I have not posted for a while, not much happening except Skoda recently had my roof resprayed under warranty, I had the body shop do the rear bumper at the same time.
  4. Hey Eddie, are you still doing MFSW fittings for Fabia II? I have a late 2013 Monte and I have just ordered the buttons. I understand I may need to source a control module as well do you know it’s part number? What do you charge for this service and what’s your general availability like?

    Thanks, Will

Hi Eddie, sorry I have not been in touch for a while, things have been a bit busy here the last few weeks, I have some time off the first week in April if that’s okay for you to fit them?

  5. I love mine it’s a brilliant little car, this summer we loaded up my family, puppy and roof box and drove from the east of England to the south west of Ireland. It’s never missed a beat in the few years I’ve owned it and it’s both small and practical. Mines a 1.6 Tdi and I’ve stayed opted out of the emissions fix. I wish I’d looked around for a black edition though since they have a slightly higher spec.
  6. Thanks, when you were researching did you find any instructions anywhere?
  7. Have you had a chance to fit these yet? I’d love to see how it’s gone, I have the more basic set installed and it occasionally plays up so it may be time for a replacement.
  8. The short answer is no, it's the wrong shape faceplate.
  9. I really like that, I've not been a fan of rally flaps but those look good. Where did you get the wheel centres from? I need to do mine.
  10. Cars looking good Hutchy, I'm a big fan of H&R I had them on my Audi and my Scooby and always found them to give a nice drop and didn't wreck the ride quality.
  11. No mods to report recently, went on my first properly long run last Friday. Peterborough to Manchester, managed 70mpg on the way back the car never missed a beat the whole weekend. Got to say though for a flatlander the M62 was a bit of a shock lol.
  12. My understanding was that as of a certain year Skoda stopped supplying them as standard on all the vehicles. It's a nice little earner for Skoda too because the sealant has an expiry date and costs £67 a time. I believe the spare can be specified when the car is ordered for £40 but if you buy a new one after the fact they will charge you £154!
  13. Fair enough I know it's not special but mine didn't come with one as standard so just been to purchase this one from a forum member and I'm needlessly excited about it.
