  3. Vag has its own patent now on heated screens they are chromaticaly heated now no wires in the viewing part of the screen contacts top and bottom and the heating element is laid into the windscreen interlay as clear conductive coating between inner and outer layers of glass these heat quicker than the old style And no annoying wires in front of you

  6. To remove pop ash tray out then push vent unit out ! Did mine the other day but mine was an over enthusiastic valeter grrr the bit you have there has little forks on it you need to start at the top there's two I think and more around the other ends it comes to bit quite easy really once you get the vents out you will need to retrieve the backs to the sliders from the heater pipe turn the temp sensor anti clockwise to release it sharp tug on pipe to loosen and slowly remove so as not to loose backs of sliders put it all back together take your time as the backs of the sliders are a pig to seat correctly patience is the key all told took about 30 mins to complete easy enough if you are good with a pick set disconnect the wires so you can have full use of the unit you are holding (easier to work on) good luck cheers mark
  7. Presume nothing with skoda it took me ages to get my keys programmed for his n hers seating positions got there in the end something in the personalisation settings was set wrong seats wouldn't set position at all before I reset them myself good car ,too complicated electronics long winded menu for menu for menu oh there it is or you forget what you were looking for cause it took you so long to find it i love cars me if all the stars are in alignment and you have ticked all the right boxes it all works fine .......eventually

  10. It will be a pattern national windscreens will not buy from dealer as too expensive Unless you ask specifically for dealer part then the extra cost is passed on to you to pay
  11. I personally guarantee that if you get the correct one for your car, fit it as per instuctions it will totally tranform your way of driving your own car pulling on to a roundabout push the pedal and away you go this little box makes the connection from right foot input to the car responding totaly different to what the standard throttle does as i have said before transforms the car into what i thought i had bought in the first place Real world driving you really dont need hesitation at junctions !! Or pulling onto roundabouts imho standard is dangerous You will also get a new driving mode its called hooligan top sport setting on the throttle response and sport on car HOOLIGANS mode For normal driving i find sport 1 the most easy to live with the response on my 190 is on the button right there but try them all as you know all cars drive differently Your call Cheers
  12. Plug and play 5 minutes to fit hours and hours of fun mine is mounted inthe cubby box you remove to get better access to fit although i didnt remove mine to fit Makes the car react like it should makes the right foot connected engine instead of errrrrrrrrr go
  13. Suddenly dawned on me you have ac button mine the other day turned itself off for no apparent reason did your do the same my ac is always on button pressed and lit up sometimes the simple things are overlooked ! I lost all my preset radio stations too Aghhh the joys of modern motoring I too had s2 fl that had none of this guff whats wrong with keep it simple stupid now you have menus for menus about menus then after 1 hour you find what your looking for s2 set everythung how you want it get out lock car job done i find the s3 a nice place to be but over complicated and i dont have a degree in vw/ audi Bloody cars !!!
  14. Does your car have a heated screen fitted ? Does the windscreen have a skoda logo ? If it is factory it should by rights be fine but i had to remove and refit 2 new mazda 3 windscreens the other day due to water ingress from factory so who knows I have heated screen in mine if the fogging gets too much for fans i switch heated screen on to clear
