Don't be as daft as me on this one
I was given a £500 fuel card as part of the deal on my new Fabia in March, 2016.
I ran it down to £25 this year and kept it in my glove box for emergencies (ie leaving wallet at home etc.).
I didn't realise (silly me) that the thing was only valid for one year and expired at the end of March 2017,meaning I've now lost the £25 which apparently goes back to Skoda.
If you have a free fuel card, check it out before it's too late.
Lesson learned.
I've had mine for about a month and I think it's got about £40 left on it

I hired a Fabia 3 last year before buying one this year, I found the seat in the hire car very uncomfortable and I had lower back ache after travelling London to Birmingham. For the new car I bought lumbar support cushions for both myself and also for my wife as she had found the seats more uncomfortable than I did in the hire car. However, with the new car I played round with the positions and, as James777 says, have managed to find the perfect position, which was slightly higher than I would normally have gone for. I find the driving seat very comfortable now and I don't use the lumbar cushion.

As above,I switch mine off occasionally when I'm at a busy junction.
I do the same, busy junctions and busy roundabouts. If you forget to turn it back on it will be activated again next time you use the car.

Very nice; I ordered mine then, it has a build date for this week but is still showing a "status 20" :-/ How did you go about getting the fuel card, did you have to do anything or did the dealership sort it out?

If you pull the glovebox apart you will usually find a 2nd slot
Is the second slot useful? Is it worth pulling the glove box apart?

Have asked them to hold it for the start of March to get the 17 plate. Will probably put up some pics but it's only a bog standard one in red so not sure if anyone would be interested in seeing it!
The way I'm going I'll end up with Fabia PJs and duvet cover set :-/

Doesnt cost you anything to ask the question worse thing they can say is no, but I'm sure you won't be the only person that's in this position.
Just found out now that my dealership expects mine now before the end of Feb!
Holy smoke - lucky you! Are you going to put photos up?

Perhaps the dealership can do some wrangling behind the scenes to register it for the end of March?
I hadn't thought about that. Yesterday I saw a Fabia Estate in the same colour as the one I've ordered (Quartz Grey); it looked very smart - I totally have it on the mind now, I think I have exhausted youtube on the subject! I'll have to run the wrangling idea past the dealer and see what they can do, I suspect that the car will have to be on these shores at the least, but if they are on the ball it will save a fair amount of cash for me.

Did you have any joy with your dealer? Mines on a boat on its way to the uk apparently.
Very nice. Still week ten build (6th March). So I might be pushing it for registration before April.

Just spoken to my dealer and my cars been built and should be making its way across to the UK in the next couple of weeks hopefully.
Excellent! That's very good news. I will have to contact my dealer and see if there's any updates. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas.

I ordered mine on the 14th Jan. So it appears our cars are probably going to arrive around the same time hopefully!
Hopefully! And before April...

When did you order it?
11th of January. Whilst the dealer said they hoped it would be in before April, I have just noticed that the paperwork gives an estimated delivery date of the 17 of April

Pretty much the main reason I wanted main to arrive before the end of March too! Fingers crossed we both get them in time!
I have been told week ten build for my SE L DSG estate. The dealership said they hoped it would arrive in time and that they will register straight away. Touch wood.

Can be anything, I was just being hard on myself, otherwise I'd still be picking.
I'm going to go with the family thing as my late father had a Jaguar mk2 and I'm feeling sentimental.

it suits "hazards", but seems unhelpful for when turning corners
I agree. The first video has a kind of "emergency service" feel about it which would suit hazard lights.

Hello. And happy new year!

Hello,
I am from London. This year I have rented a Fabia and an Octavia. I liked them both very much and am now looking to buy. I found Briskoda via Google and liked the mature approach and that threads stay on subject.
Kind regards,

I was glad that the screen in the car isn't blanked out by polarising lenses - as when I previously used to use my mobile as a sat-nav the glasses would block the screen.
