  1. Take a look at Celtic Tuning https://www.celtictuning.co.uk/ecu-remap it will show you with a dyno map what your car should achieve.
  2. I have this exact problem too, on a 68 place 2.0 TSI hatchback, I must get around to having a look or getting the garage to sort it.
  3. I used to drive a Jaguar S-Type 2.7D, they were very likely to show various faults if the battery was near it's end of life. Maybe the Octavia is showing the same symptoms. If you have a multimeter check the charge. https://www.autozik.com/how-to-test-car-battery-with-multimeter/
  4. Cheers, I'll take a look. This morning on the way to work it was still the same, around 23mpg, but on the way home this evening all was good again at 46mpg and smooth running.
  5. Hi I have a 68 plate 2.0 190 TSI with 2400 miles. Today on the way home, a 9 mile drive, the mpg was very low, 26mpg, it's normally around the 40mpg mark. There was a hesitation/judder when driving, it also felt like the brakes were on or the engine holding back when accelerating. There are no warning lamps on. I have it booked in to dealers on the 19th Feb for a judder when cold. Any ideas?
  6. 2 weeks ago I bought a pre-registered Black Magic 2.0 TSI 190 SE L with 81 miles on the clock.
  7. I wish Lidl would restock their concentrated screenwash, but sadly I don't think we will see it again in the UK.
  8. It's my 2nd, traded in my Mk2 Superb 2.0TDi Elegance for something a little smaller. I'm very impressed with the smoothness of the 2.0 TSI engine.
  9. I've just bought a Dec 18 registered 2.0 TSI 190 DSG SE-L with 81 miles on the clock from the dealer that registered it.
  10. How does the grill access panel remove on a 2113 face lift model, if indeed it does need removing to to replace the bulb?
  11. Over the past 22,000 miles that I have owned my Superb 140 the average is 47.7mpg, mainly 10 mile trips to work, with a few motorway runs thrown in.
  12. Take a look at www'celtictuning.co.uk they can come to you, or if you can pop down to Cornwall they will do the remap on their rolling road. My 140 has had a stage 1 map applied and achieves 193bhp, it feels a lot more responsive and is slightly more economical. Check with your insurer to see how much they will charge on your premium to cover the remap.
  13. I've had my 63 plate 140 (not an estate) remapped, it gives 193bhp on a rolling road. Before the map, some overtakes had to be planned/delayed, now it just gets on with it. The car has performed flawlessly in the 20 months that I have owned it, just had the timing belt replaced and it should be due a service soon.
  14. If you want to check to see if the car has been 'updated' put it's details here, it needs the VIN. http://www.skoda.co.uk/owners/dieselinfo/check-your-vehicle
  15. Skoda won't return the car to the original software version, the only option is to get reversion done at a reputable remappers. Some have said Shark will do it, I don't know the costs.
  16. Take a look at https://www.facebook.com/TVDCF/?hc_ref=ARQoZ_w9Hi2EmVXVittd6mDn_I97_lQ1rsxkuQcMLtrYSRHStah06FfW4eyfchDab1s&fref=nf it's the FB group for effected VAG group owners
  17. Being a 2010 model, has it had the software 'fix' applied, if so it could be a lot of expensive trouble. You can check the car if you have the VIN at http://www.skoda.co.uk/owners/dieselinfo/check-your-vehicle
  18. This worked on my 2013 Superb http://resetservicelight.com/reset-service-light-indicator-skoda-superb/
  19. If buying online check to see if you can get cashback through Quidco or Topcashback. NHS, NUS and the military all have discount schemes, I'm sure others do too.
  20. Stage 1 remap from Celtic Tuning should give you a minimum of 45bhp and 93lb/ft extra https://www.celtictuning.co.uk/services/performance-stats/skoda/superb-3v-2015/diesel/2-0-tdi-187-bhp-2015-ECU-remap-chiptuning/stage-1#t3-content
