    I contacted Ancel and the reply suggested that the Yeti doesn't need to know the battery technology. Hopefully the charging profile is the same for the AGM battery as the EFB that was in the car from new. I did input the capacity and a new serial number so at least the battery management knows it's a new battery.

    I fitted a new Bosch AGM battery to my 2016 Yeti. I bought the Ancel VD700 scanner to register it. Although I can input the capacity, the manufacturer and the serial number there is no input for the battery technology or part number. Is this a software problem with the scanner? I have upgraded to the latest version. As I am changing from EFB to AGM is this important?
