My local dealer Mitchells had one in their showroom today. It was there for the invited guest event tonight in left hand drive. But I did get the opportunity to give a good look over and sit in it. Its a fine looking car in this top spec form. I'm told the demo cars won't be arriving till April, and factory orders not until June!
I hope you are wrong... I've been given a build week 10 and told the car will be ready just before the official launch date which is 6th April.

Thanks for posting these picture! Much appreciated. I have ordered the SEL Quartz Grey with Cream interior so these pics are great for me. Do you have any wide/full outside shots?
-
Thanks... I hate that Skoda are showing these cars in Wheels we can't have, even the UK mini brochure is wrong!
-
Please upload more! lol
Do you have any shots of the different wheels?
-
What is the source of this info?
The Skoda UK configurator shows:
2.0 TSI 0-62 in 7.82s
At the end view configuration summary to see all the details, look in the performance section. I'm just a little worried their configurator might be wrong as it's quite a performance jump compared to ALL the other engines in the range including the 2.0 TDI 190 which is only 8.6s
I'm at the dealer tomorrow morning placing my order!
-
lol ... 1.4TSI is about 9.6s I think, which is quite a bit slower.
-
Can that be right? Wow, I might change my order from the 1.4TSI to the 2.0TSI if that's correct!
-
My advice would be to keep the term as short as possible when ordering a launch vehicle without seeing it, in 2 years there could be something else you like more, better specs, options, trim, version etc etc.
-
I'm about to sign for one thats the same spec as that, but it's 3x24 at £320 inclusive. 36 months works out the same.
I'd rather be paying £281 though, that's a hell of a deal.
Edit, is that the 4wd? I can get a 2wd in that spec for £303, or the 4x4 for £320
That is 2wd dsg, I can get 4wd dsg £301.41 or Edition dsg 2wd £301.88 or Edition dsg 4wd £319.88 ... Looks like I'm £20 a month less across all options. The dealer is basically doing everything for me at 4x23 to reduce the monthly figure and they are going to pay one of the upfront payments, so I pay 3x23. I'm happy to PM you the quotes on Saturday so you can bash your dealer over the head with them and get it cheaper.

A little of my photoshop magic for comparison:

Yea I am aware they are different design but they both are the anthracite/polished look.
So do you think the word "Polished" in the brochure will mean the Anthracite one? I hope so, me and Dr Pepper will be a little happier.
-
Oh I'm not buying. I'm talking to dealers to find prices, then put you guys in touch with them :)
My hope is, having the dealers support the site once you've ordered and collected, thats one path anyway. The other is to do as the other borkers do and go for zero margin everywhere and some up front fee.
I've been back to math school and possibly shave another £3.60 of that price.. if I stick to porridge with water :D Got spreadsheets coming out of ma ears.
OK. I think I have the best quote in here but won't sign until the weekend so don't want to bugger up the deal with 100s of people calling them. I will post the dealer info soon.
3x23 (£843 then £281pm) for a 1.4 DSG SEL Metalic/Tiglav ... That's just £3650 a year to drive round in a really nice car!
-
I think you're right and that is pretty annoying given anthracite wheels are shown throughout the brochure.
First world problems lol.
Indeed mate... When you are buying a new car wheels are key!
-
The top two are the anthracite and the bottom one is polished.
The top one is a different design, look more closely the top one is a different wheel, the points meet at the hub. Unless the 20" Tiglavs are designed slightly different.
-
Dang, close if it's a 150ps
With £1000 inc VAT deposit, rental is £271.19 inc VAT
No arrangement broker fee...
Colin are you set on a 2.0 rather than a 1.4?
-
I will be getting an Edition this time on a 2 year lease... Might get the sport next time. Or a Kia Stinger! (bit different I know)
-
I have found the hi-res image of the white one in the brochure, I don't think these are even Triglav wheels as the design is different and note that they are 20" which isn't even an option!
Worst case I'm hoping these are the "Polished" 19" Tiglav wheels with dark inside (note the different design to above):
This is the wheel I'm worried we will get (which people will be VERY peeved about):
I can't do much more research and the UK dealers seem pretty clueless as to exactly what the wheels will look like!
I'm ordering mine this weekend, hoping the wheels don't look crap when I get the car in April!
-
Thabks FoxT will be extremely peeved if you're right because there's a massive difference. And can't think why they would even do that, surely almost everyone would want the anthracite/polished version.
Dr you make an interesting comment there, you say "Anthracite/Polished", my dealer has confirmed back that they are "Polished" not Anthracite so my hopes are raised but I've searched and searched and can't determine if the "Polished" ones are darker inside.

Today I've seen and touched the red one:
Thanks for posting! Is that an SEL? 19" Sirius Wheels? What did you think?
-
Skoda are rumored to be introducing the Sportline into the range in March at the Geneva Motor Show.
Personally I am about to order an 'Edition' but seeing this makes me wonder if I should hold out and see what the spec is like... I'm all about the looks!

-
I have emailed my dealer again to confirm but they don't seem to know lol
-
The brochure is quite naughty! I'm 99% certain these are the wheels (Triglav) on the Edition and a free option on the SEL (no anthracite in sight):
NOT these unfortunately:
-
PCH is the way to go IMO - sub £290 (inc VAT) for 1.4 Auto SEL is possible, just push your dealer hard!
-
I fear that in the UK the launch wheels are just a single colour 19" alloy. Plain Sirius and plain Triglav even on the top spec 'Edition'. No option for Sirius Anthracite or Triglav Anthracite and no 20" options at all.
Quite disappointing!
I have asked the dealer to contact Skoda head office to see if I can get better looking wheels on the 'Edition' I'm about to order.

Has anyone ordered one
in Skoda Kodiaq MKI (2017-2023)

I had confirmation today that mine is built (week 10) and in transit. He also said they are currently asking head-office if they can Tax them and release them before the 6th. I think this is unlikely but I imagine the number of cars being handed to drivers on the 6th is going to make it very tricky for them!
