  1. Similar to above, went from a 2.2 TDI Honda CR-V to 1.2 TSI Manual , 4 of us to France with luggage and really did not notice the difference apart from the lack of wine storage space!
  2. My 2017 SEL-Drive came with logo mats in the front only (the rear were just plain). Just swopped them for the OEM rubber ones on a £20 cheap deal on Fleabay
  3. OK so why when I accidentally hold the "unlock" button do the windows open?
  4. Actually found fuel consumption to be similar as well!
  5. Had a 1.2 TSI manual for over two months now. Previous car was a 2.2TDI Honda CRV. Took four of us to France recently and really did not notice the difference, apart from less room to store the wine!
  6. Previously had a 2.2 TDI Honda Cr-V, went to France last week with four on board, hardly noticed the difference with our 1.2 Manual Petrol ( a bit less room for the wine!)
  7. You will be amazed at the number of friends and neighbours who say "what a lovely colour"! Good luck with the manual, we are still trying to get our collective heads around it. The wife did tell the satnav bloke to "go away" in France last week. (Well it meant go away, the Anglo Saxon version!)
  8. Good colour choice! Never had a car before where so many people say how nice it looks!

    Yeti on a Ship

Now had it a month and it has been back on a ship, this time to northern France. Took four of us in a 1.2 manual, but never really noticed the lack of power compared to my previous 2.2 TDI Honda CR-V. Missed the space for wine a little bit but stowed the parcel shelf vertically behind the passenger seats and then just stacked upwards! Claimed to average 45 mpg on the whole journey. Really pleased with most aspects, although never had a sat-nav before and after a lot of swearing we resorted to the map. Incidentally never had a car before that several friends and neighbours have remarked how nice the colour is! (Petrol Blue)
  10. I have an SE-L Drive 1 month old and mine fold, came as standard, just hold the lock button down
  11. Well I have had mine less than a month and mine does it! Great fun going round bends at night.
  12. Picked up my 1.2 TSI man SE-L Drive, Petrol Blue, from those nice people at Hortons Lincoln today. Special thanks to Paul Millar for getting me through the order door before it shut! Finally made the move as I do not like jelly mould cars. Kept my Honda CRV for 12 years and it was completely faultless, but having retired we no longer need a Diesel as we do not do the mileage. Felt good on the drive back to Derbyshire.

    Yeti on a Ship

Just been told that my 1.2 manual petrol blue SE-L Drive has bypassed several earlier orders still at Emden and got on a ship over the weekend! Finally jumped on the Yeti bandwagon, before it becomes yet another jelly mould. Hope it will be as reliable as the CR-V which has lasted me 12 years without a single glitch! Only a few weeks to wait now.
  14. Guys many thanks for the "heads up" Just ordered my SEL drive before the drawbridge is pulled up. Dealer confirmed tomorrow last day for new build orders.
  15. That makes far more sense!
