Need some help people. How do fit the vrs grill badge? I have the upgraded ones that have the threads,plate and nuts. Please no smart arses again that like to let people know they are long time Octavia owners with a ****ty bog standard version. Apologies if it's already been put on the site but the search engine isn't great

Cheers Yeah maxton are working on this issue with the diesal version. It comes with a part that protects the valance from melted. They have reduced the price while it gets sorted but have said because they have notified of issue if it melts there's no warranty. Apparently they've sold loads and it's only happened due miss fitting the heat shield Anyways I'm going to order an see how I get on ha

Has anybody fitted a maxton rear valance on their vrs?? Tempted to get one especially because they have one that has a flap for a tow bar. Just wondering how difficult it was to take off the old valance and then fit the maxton Thanks in advance Ps no smart aslrse comments saying us long term Octavia owners have put this thread on. I've recently ordered quite a few bits off wish and wasn't charge any extra than the postage for each individual item! Was abit annoying but I got for £40 Replacement front and rear badges, valve caps, wheel bolt caps, key cover, and vrs covers to go over the the bits in the doors frame. I'll add photos asap because I have also added new 4d plates and mudflaps came today (off eBay but worked out cheaper than going through superskoda with all the extra charges)

I have literally had a detachable tow bar fitted yesterday! I have messaged Skoda directly to find out what covers are available for the mkiii Monte Carlo bracsue I'm struggling to find a cover for the hole that was needed to be cut. There must be something out there because you can select a tow bar in the Monte brand new from the dealer Skoda do offer a cover for the Monte kombi! I finally got a reply form our local garage! They are going to send me an email with unpainted part for only £6

I wish that was an option, we already have a trailer tent will towed with an old focus, but our girls are at the age of wanting to help/ not actually helping 😁 so the wife has said can we go for a tourer caravan and not have to worry about the set up process of the trailer tent (is for sale guys if anybody is after one ahahaha)

All services carried out not at Skoda with Thier silly prices for very minimal work carried out. When the car was bought the plan wasn't to tow a caravan but such is life and things change. The plan isn't to attempt to pull the maximum weight, if you read the first post I was asking for advice and I anybody has a Fabia have they pulled a caravan. The car is obviously able to tow if you can get a tow bar and there is a weight restriction. If you have no advice just a negative don't waste your time in posting a comment

Hi thanks for responses!! We have the 1.4 Monte Carlo estate manual Looking at a 4berth caravan under 1000kg ha. I thought that the 1200kg brakes max was too much because the car weights 1100kg max Would love to get a 4 berth but may have to be a 2/3 and get a big awning ha Any hints/tips/ advice would be greatly appreciated

Hi does anybody on here an the Fabia III kombi that also has a caravan? Struggling to pick a caravan thats a 4 berth and that the Fabia safely pull It says upto 1200kg?? Anyone got a Fabia kombi that tows a caravan??

Hi guys apologies again but I bet this has been discussed before! Whenever I try and search for something nothing actually comes up on the results. I bought some led reverse bulbs and they work fine just an error message comes up saying to check the reverse lights everytime the engine is running an the car is put into reverse. The leds I bought said error free but obviously not. Does anubody know where I can get some that don't bring up the error message? Cheers
