  1. I have a 2010 VRS CR so far a piper cross panel filter and a stage one remap. Been on Dyno and showing 211 BHP but where can I go from here to find extra gains ? Been told bigger turbo but not sure about fueling issues
  2. Many thanks will report back next week
  3. Hi do you notice much more smoke ? Does it feel noticeably quicker throughout the rev range many thanks
  4. So my trusty 2010 VRS CR is off next week for a DPF removal and EGR delete plus a remap also a piper cross panel filter for good measure. I've read loads of threads on just remapping but does anyone on here have the same mods and is 225 bhp a little optimistic or any comments on how noticeable the power increase will feel ?
  5. B4s were my original choice eBay set of 4 @£202 and then a toss up between H&R or eibach springs ? Looking at about £350 ish.... Or do I go for the B12s @£600 Is it really worth the extra money... Another question is it worth fitting the eibach anti roll bar kit as well ???
  6. I have a 2010 VRS CR estate 100k last week snapped rear spring (replaced by AA) also front shocks misting (oil) so thought time for a overhaul. Thinking of eibach springs with bilstein b4s To keep price down (£350) total... Or shall I spend a little more ? Any ideas
  7. I need to replace my front shocks but when ever i search there is hundreds of fitments any idea what i should be fitting to the car? Was told at last service the front shocks had slight misting and I'm not that impressed with the handling of the car. I understand the VRS diesel estate is heavy But does not install confidence when pushed.
  8. Left hand indicator now comes on when I open the boot with no keys in Wonder now if doddgy dash. Spoke to one of these dash repairers who said it's common with Vw group where light shines through the dash say from boot open to left indicator that's why it's only partially lit
  9. Quick update I'm now convinced it's a watet/ damp issue had a dry spell down here in Devon and all faults disappeared.... Then a massive downpour and faults are back. Had to visit Skoda for a spare key and they scanned for faults and returned a page of faults all to do with the rear light s saying intermittent earth faults and blammed everything on the towbar. I was not convinced as the fault was there a long time before the tow bar !!! So sunshine no faults then first sign of rain there all back.
  10. Update I've disconnected the battery and reconnected after lighting up like a Christmas tree and remembering to turn steering both ways all lights went out... But problems remaining. Thinking back and maybe not connected after a jet wash the problem started I wonder if it's taken on water anywhere..
  11. Just had look at battery looks fairly old Varta battery with a bit of corrosion (old white gunk around negative Not sure if stereo is coded before I disconnect
  12. Thanks One quick question if I disconnect battery do I need a stereo code.... Not found any codes in manuals I have
  13. Sorry did not read all your post Yes spoke to garage he only sells Skoda VW and Audi and in 15 years says he's never seen it but he's asking a friend at a main dealer. Problem is he's 100 miles from me but think he will help me.
  14. Many thanks for the reply I've also just noticed with the keys out when I open the boot the left indicator comes on dimly. Also one bulb dead in boot... Just replaced but made no difference. I have noticed both boot lights have a small capacitor near the bulb wonder if that's at fault. Off now in the rain to disconnect battery lol...
  15. Hi I've had my 2010 VRS 6 days and mine has developed the same fault did you get to the bottom of the fault
