I've noticed the same about the headlight wash cover plate on several occasions, while not all: sometimes it goes back oin place on its own.

The most important extra I have found is a microfibre cloth to keep the screens and controls clean!

My Columbus has a data sim slot so I will try there!

You're correct about the iPhone. It doesn't use rSAP so you can only use the Bluetooth connection for voice calls and streaming music/audio.
That must explain why I cannot connect my Kodiaq's Columbus to the internet using my iPhone. I have ordered a data sim, but just need to find out how to operate it, any suggestions?
-
Me too, how do I get my Columbus online, should I buy a data stick or not?
-
I was the same with my Kodiaq yesterday, lovely maps though.
Can anyone advise on the best way to get the Columbus system online?

Today is K day for quite a few of us early adopters, for me it will be a first chance to drive a Kodiaq and I have only seen one twice. So Bridkodans look out today for the new tribe, the bears are loose!

Welcome, I am from Fife too and pick up my Kodiaq on Thursday

A Skoda eMail arrived yesterday:
"You could be one of the first to get behind the wheel of thenew ŠKODA Kodiaq. Our award-winning SUV will arrive at your local retailer from 6 April.
Book your place at one of our launch events now, andexperience its powerful design, generous space and state-of-the-art tech first hand."That made me laugh.
I'd better be "one of the first to get behind the wheel" and drive off the forecourt on the 6th.
Ditto!

There is still a lot of confusion over the build dates of Kodiaqs with cars with a week 9 build not built yet and only promised for the end of March.

Petrol's are being built after diesels
Colin, where did that come from? I ordered a 190 Edition DSG 4x4 in mid December and I have been given a week 12 build date.
-
At long last having ordered a Kodiaq in mid December, I have a provisional Week 12 build week. Progress at last.

So what was it like?

I wouldn't have asked for a hot steering wheel, but it seems to be bundled with the DSG paddles, which I do want. So hot wheel it will be.
Boxer, you don't by any chance live on The Bridges do you?

I am being invited to see the new Kodiaq albeit in left hand drive next month. Looking forward to it.
Yes it is in the Uk, Wales in fact.
Me too but in Dunfermline in the Kingdom of Fife

I ordered an Edition 190 DSG 4x4 in mid December but I am still waiting for a build date and a wee look at a Kodiaq in the flesh!
-
Hullo from me too, I have a Kodiaq on order. First time Skoda buyer, it is on order but I have never seen one in the flesh let alone driven one! Just waiting for a build date now, fingers xrossed!
