  1. Yes paid £137 for it the other day. Expensive but I am happy with it.
  2. Normally get on ok with the nose weights as now use a alko jockey wheel with the scales. Actually easier after changing to a twin axle. No idea how to work out % but within the 1800kg limit and tows better than our others (single axles up to 1500kg). If I’m going some distance I do put some of the weight in the rear foot wells and back seats though to help with the weight balance. I will say although legal it’s not my recommendation.
  3. Yes you can tow it no problem as long as your license allows.
  4. Ordered 235 PS4’s will see how they are hated the bridgestones want something better and always loved my PS3’s. Regarding the 235 choice think they will look better and really want some more alloy protection
  5. Hi all looking at some new summer season tyres this week but want some pictures of the rim protection before I make my final choice. Realistly I just want better than the standard 225 Bridgestones Pictures of 235/40/18 tyres on Gemini alloys please Heading towards Michelin PS4 or Goodyear Eagle F1 Many Thanks Adam
  6. Das auto did mine http://myautotec.co.uk/ however both Indespension and Pfj would have done it for £500 - £550 too. Yes full westfalia wiring + coding too!
  7. I paid £500 for a Westfalia removable towbar, electrics ,and single a 13 pin socket which is as per Skoda done on the drive by a retrofit company. Very happy with the service.
  8. Where did you have yours done if you don’t mind me asking? Would like high beam assist activated on mine? Many Thanks Adam
  9. Paid £500 for our detachable westfalia with correct coded 13pin electrics from a vw specialist the only option in my opinion!
  10. Sold our freelander 2 for a VRS 4x4 very pleased even towing our 1800kg caravan across wet fields! I like the look of the Karoq if you need the clearance but gutted no higher powered model.
  11. Just wrapped it in strong srinkwrap, it's done the job so far
  12. Mine didn't come with one and there is little point with a cage so made a spacer from polystyrene works well and light weight.
  13. Nope won't let me select Eco when the electrics are plugged in, when reverse is selected the rear parking sensors do not work (picture on the display shows an a frame), the rear fog doesn't come on and not tried taking the plug out when the car is locked to see if the alarm goes off though.
  14. Company was dasauto in the Midlands done on my drive all coded etc seems to be all good with our caravan. Cost was £499 which was the same as indespension and a few other fitters for a detachable and dedicated electrics.
