    Hi Gizmo,

Just wondering, can the TV feature be unlocked on the Columbus system?  I quite liked the feature of being able to close the boot from inside the car too.

    Hi bspman,

Do you do VCDS coding?  I am in SW London too and I've got a pre-facelift Superb from 2017 and  was wondering if the TV feature can be unlocked in my Columbus system?

    Thanks,

    Sif

      Will drop you a PM.

  3. Your car looks good. I've got an L&K, but I test drove a Sportline and yeah, the Sportline seats are better. Good move on going for the spare tyre and I am glad I'm not the only one who went for a sunroof! Not quite panoramic as stated but it's alright! You've got the fun version of the Superb so have fun!
  4. I've been in the dark about this for months, another feature of the car I can use now, thanks Rob. I'm always a little nervous now I have started locking the car this way though. I never feel fully convinced I've actually locked the car despite hearing that locking sound! I think it's because being at the door, I don't see the hazards flashing as well which I did when locking remotely using the fob. Hmm I think the simple solution is to look at the dash as I lock it- just occurred to me when writing this! Move along... nothing to see here!
  5. I know what you mean, I bought a 2013 BMW 320d Touring from new and had 2 BMs before that. I prefer the experience with the Superb. I had an E34 BMW and kept it for ages, I loved that car. The Superb has a similar feeling for me like the ability make you feel more refreshed and satisfied at the end of a drive than when you set off but more equipment, practicality and it looks better to my eyes. The 320d was not as refined an no way as well equipped. It was more dynamic, but this made it tiresome having to restrain yourself as it never felt quite settled in town driving speed. Surprisingly though, I found the Superb more fun in Sports mode and I prefer the steering generally. I just hope my dealership/garage experience is better than with BMW. Enjoy it!! :-)
  6. Blimey, the 5l oil spill is upsetting just reading about. I am glad you got the dividers!
  7. Hi dg360, Pretty sure, but now you've got me wanting to have another look! The car is a saloon. When it was delivered I mentioned it to the chap. He didn't know what I meant so I showed him pics of it. Even the dealership wasn't aware of them when he called them, which surprised me. I assumed at the time, the cargo net came in their place.
  8. I reckon you should have a luggage net. Mine came with it, but not the boot dividers. The boot dividers are the right angle shaped things with velcro at the base right? May be it's an either/or situation? Congrats on the new car!
  9. Congrats. Nice pics, the car looks great!
  10. Broker4cars did the job for me, took delivery of the car today (yes!! ). I checked them out at companies house, they have been around for a fair while and at the same address. They have FCA accreditation too. So if anyone has any doubts about a buying a car through a company that may be the way to ease worry. In terms of customer service and support I think Broadspeed have been brilliant, they even advised me when I was not buying from them. So I may go with them next time.
  11. Had my Petrol Blue Superb 220 TSI L&K delivered today. Just come back from my first drive in it- well chuffed! Went mad with the toys: Heated washer nozzles Rear view camera Smart light assist Travel assist with traffic sign recognition Electric slide and tilt sunroof 3 spoke multifunction leather heated steering wheel with paddle shift Sunblind for rear side windows Metallic - Petrol Blue Backrest release Front passenger seat adjustment operated from rear Ventilated front seats Leather - Beige - NCO 18" Pegasus anthracite alloy wheels - NCO Space saver spare wheel And..... of course the crucial wasted bin in the door panel!!
  12. Hi ColinD, Very original response, I think I'll go for the 'For a Few Dollars More' vibe and wait to see what they have to say now that I've made them aware of my concerns! @100andthirty that sounds much more like it!
  13. Hi, I am buying my Skoda outright through broker4cars.co.uk, alas I found out that I could buy via Briskoda too late! I've just been informed the car is ready for delivery but they said they want full payment for the car 2-4 days prior to delivery so the funds would clear! This seems very dodgy to me, I discussed it with the financial ombudsmen service and they said it is reasonable for me to expect that I pay after delivery. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else has used broker4cars? How was it? Did you get enough time to check the car over before handing over your hard-earned? Thanks.
