Damage to rear bumper and a rear light cluster- Any advice?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have an L&K May 2017 model Superb in Petrol Blue colour.  Need bit of advice about where's best to go to replace rear bumper and damaged light.  I was going to go to a Skoda garage in Chiswick but just wondered whether it's better to go to an independent garage to do the job.  I really like the car and want a proper job done.

Here's the picture 😬

I don't know London, but there are such things as independent body shops. There's one near where I live that I'd use in preference to any Main Stealer.

Thanks Paws4Thot.

I get your point with main stealer.  First time having to get bodywork sorted so thought I'd ask before proceeding.

I doubt many dealers will have their own bodyshop these days - will contract it out.   Likewise most insurance companies would direct you to a manufacturer approved repairer rather than a dealers workshop.
try googling  skodaapprovedrepair.uk

And see if theres any good ones near you.

I’ve sent you a PM.

My local VW dealer is part of a franchise and they have their own body shop, do anything VAG and even come out to do quotes for free.

If your local Skoda franchise isn’t good check your nearest VW and even Audi

I was a bit worried I was asking a silly question on the forum.  Appreciate the help:thumbup:
