  1. I've found that the ACC tends to turn itself off when the battery is a little low, after running for a short while there is enough in the battery to turn it back on if you reset it by switching on and off. One problem I have found is the radar system does not like enclosed spaces, there are road works on the A14 near Stowmarket which has concrete walls either side for a couple of miles. The radar can loose the car in front so I have to turn the system off through the road works.
  2. My Karoq was taken to my local Skoda dealership for its annual service and MOT, while in the care of the dealer the car was rear ended causing damage to the rear door and bumpers etc. The vehicle has been with the dealer for more than 13 weeks and I have just been informed that the rear door has just arrived and it will be another 2 weeks before I will get it back. How can Skoda justify a 3 month lead time for what is a metal part that they actually manufacture? It hasn’t helped that the dealer has not been forthcoming with information over the 3 months.

The edition has the heated element and traffic alert otherwise I think it’s the same as any other model. I also believe the same wing mirror is used on the Kodiaq. The price I was quoted was just for the glass, they want nearly £700 for a complete wing Mirror.

I had the misfortune to have driver’s side wing mirror broken when somebody got too close and clipped it. My local dealer wants in excess of £350 for just the mirror (Karoq Edition). Does anybody have any suggestions where I can get the part at a more reasonable price? I would also be grateful for the part number. Surprisingly the Indicator part is under £30 which makes the mirror very expensive.
