I also have a Kodiaq IV since 11.2024 and I’ve been using the pre-heat function on every cold day: the alarm was never triggered.

“AI Overview +5 A rear passenger detection tone is a safety alert sound from a vehicle's rear occupant alert or rear seat reminder system. The tone, often a chime, is triggered after the engine is turned off and a rear door has been opened and closed, prompting the driver to check the back seat for children or pets. The tone is a component of the overall alert, which can also include on-screen messages and honking.” This is not meant to disable the no seat belt chime, that’s not allowed. You can test this by stopping the engine and opening the driver or one of the back doors with someone sitting in the back, maybe the car will “say” something.

I always charge it to 100%, use it daily, try to empty the battery, then let it use the TSI every two cycles or when I don’t make it to the charging station and repeat. On 3 to 4 out of 10 cycles, the battery gets depleted to only 10%-30%, usually when I need the stationary heating/cooling option. Enjoy your bear!

Same here, but I just leave it there, my OCD got used to both the stupid notification in the message list and the reminder at engine off. I always charge to 100%.

Sorry, my comment was about the 90EE SW recall. 94EW action is a HW recall, linked to the ACC stalk, took about 2 hours, provided they have it on stock.

For me it took 2 days, left it at 12:00 on a Wed and got it back at 16:00 the next day. Some module was getting locked and they needed to call Skoda about it. New SW:

I think you should ask the dealer about this, does it appear on the spec list that you received from him? This option is usually part of a optional package, here in Europe.

You can set it to Sport mode and then go electric, I added a shortcut for E-mode on the top dashboard, you’ll be driving a UFO. 🤪

Try to set it to Sport mode, the noise will be a bit louder.

After the 90EE update, the electric drive is a bit more smooth and I have no issues so far, just like before the update. Seats adjustment and ventilation are still working fine. The only issue I had was fixed: the passenger mirror was going down when reversing, then back to the correct position after driving forward but was still going down after a few seconds and was staying like that; not the best way tto switch lanes with no visibility. It took them 6h+8h (two days), they had to ask Skoda for help. I also received the “Safe Battery” option, but I left it disabled, I always charge to 100%. Before and after:

@mark2jag From what I know, if you go for the Sportline trim, the massage/ventilation option is not available for the Sportline seats. Yet, the electric passenger front seat should be available as an option. This is why I opted for Selection trim here, in my country, and I added all the bells and whistles I needed, although there was a campaign for Sportline trim and the price would have been lower, but I really needed the ventilated seats for the upcoming summer (massage was a perk). If you are allowed to customize your order (if that’s the case, although it might be a stock car), you should be able to add the electric passenger front seat or go for another trim that will suite your needs.

The new feature available after November is called Remote Park Assist and it allows you to control the car with your mobile phone from outside the vehicle. It requires some additional hardware, it’s not only software, so retrofitting will have a price (assuming a 3rd party will provide the part/s).
