New complete steering column assembly fitted at Skoda and no more notchy steering issues
-
Have taken the Monte back again to Skoda with this notchy steering problem, and after having a rather heated conversation with the service manager, a further investigation by one of there technicians discovered that there was a fault with the steering column. The technician told me it appears Skoda are aware of an electrical problem with the steering columns on some cars something to do with magnets in the mechanism. The franchise have now ordered a new steering column which will be fitted shortly.I will keep you updated on the result

Same here mine does this it's only done 9k,all you get from skoda it's fine not to worry

I have a 1.2dsg and get around town 39/41 mpg and upwards to 50/54 on a run, but must admit over 70mph and it will drop to about 35mpg.

I will let you know if it happens

Think I prefer the 48DD look than a bonnet covered in chips and dinks
-
That's the one I bought from eBay on more than 10 minutes to fit
-
eBay £47 just use a Allan Key to fit, have now removed the yeti white lettering.

Had a new se drive the beginning of July with no embroidered yeti logo on the mats but if you look underneath you will see the Skoda label
-
Yes it was already in the UK,I just popped in to the local dealership to see if there was any deals on new yeti's.They made me a good offer on my Spaceback so from the time I agreed to the deal till the time it was ready for collection was three days.

No but the grey seems to complement the alloys quite nicely, and dark grey being one of my favourite colours I didn't mind anyway.

Just ordered and eagerly awaiting a Yeti 1.2 SE Drive,so much better to drive than the Spaceback 1.6 se sport
