Dandyman started following Skoda Octavia MKIII - Retrofit Net Partition
-
I'm thinking about retrofitting the net partition in my Octavia VRS Estate. Has anyone done this before, and know what part numbers are required? My understanding is that I need the following parts: 1. Net partition 2. Mounting clips for net partition in rear seats 3. Clips to go into the head liner Does anyone also know if the mounts themselves are present underneath the head liner?

Recently checked with a dealership about the all-in Skoda service plan, and they said to qualify I needed to have the cambelt changed. Apparently it's due every 5 years, but they didn't flag it in the recent service that happened nor is it listed in the owner's manual. Are people just supposed to know this, or is there a list somewhere or recommended parts to be replaced?

Anyone know where to get a hold of the Brembo Xtra brake parts in the UK? ECP only have the standard version and nowhere seems to stock the performance ones.

Spare wheel compartment foam insert going free
Dandyman replied to Dandyman's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
Where are you based? Happy to drop off if local, or if you want to collect. It's only if you don't have the spare wheel mind, it's not the foam that goes inside the spare wheel. -
Twin floor would be good to hide it, but I guess it doesn't leave you much room between the floor cover and the false floor This person seems to have got a size that is flat, but VRS need bigger wheels anyway to go over the brake calipers - Full Size Spare Fits in the Wheel Well............ - Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 onward) - BRISKODA If you were using a space saver, would you not just go and get a new tyre fitted anyway? Generally they work quite well to get you to the nearest tyre shop.

My understanding is that: The floor cover will be raised slightly, approximately 2-3cm. You could compensate for this by adding something around the edges of the cover You have to butcher the foam insert a bit to get it to sit in the wheel

Anyone know the specific model number for the internal bike rack in the MK3 Fabia Estate? Does it work with / without the false boot floor? Any help greatly appreciated!
