  1. Hello OccyVRS, That’s what I thought. As you say, the intake pipe needs removing and throttle unit is held on by four bolts. I may ask another dealership for a quote to see what they come back with. Kind regards, Spacehopper7
  2. Hello Lee, Original quote was for foot pedal sensor and throttle main unit, but they only changed the main unit hence the discrepancy. Now I know the part is the correct ridiculous price, I would be interested to know how long it takes to change it. kind regards, Spacehopper
  3. Hello Breezy_Pete, £519 + vat for part £11.15 + vat for Gasket £335.87 + vat for labour There was no acceleration, went into limp mode (about 8mph), no ACC, no stop start, EPC error and engine management symbols on dash. I was quoted £1089 + vat but inferred they would replace the pedal sensor and throttle main unit. They only replaced the main unit and the reason I am querying cost is they said labour would be 2-2.5 hours. Would that be correct? Regards, Spacehopper
  4. Hello numskull, No it is the throttle body which has a sensor attached (similar to the attached image). Kind regards, Spacehopper
  5. Good evening, Can somebody please tell me how much a new oem throttle would cost (including labour) and how long would it take to fit. I have just been charged what I feel is an exorbitant amount at a Skoda dealership and need to get some facts right before complaining. Skoda 1.4 DSG Petrol Thank you
  6. Good afternoon, Just fitted the new battery and went to code with an obdeleven, but states that the battery adaptation is a licensed feature and to upgrade to Pro or Ultimate Plan. Can I access the battery adaptation with credits or do I have to pay towards one of the plans?
  7. Thank you BillyParker for advising to set type to fleece as I would probably have chosen Binary - AGM. Car started this morning, went to work (about 18 miles) with radio off etc, but at the end of the day it was completely dead so car left at work until I get a battery. 🤬
  8. Many thanks Carlston and Bap33. I may be able to borrow an OBDeleven to do the coding.
  9. Many thanks Carlston, My existing battery is an EFB battery, is it ok to fit an AGM replacement battery instead?
  10. Good evening, Just tried to start my Superb and battery is flat to 10 volts. Probably due a new one as it is over 7 years old. It is a Moll EFB battery (see attached photo). Can anyone recommend the ideal replacement please. Your help would be much appreciated.
  11. Many thanks ApertureS, much appreciated. Yes it is one of the sensors on the black rear strip on the bumper, so 5Q0919275C.
  12. Many thanks for your help varooom. VIN Number: TMBKB7NP9G7068073.
  13. Found out it is the rear kerbside sensor that is faulty. Are all the sensors the same at the back and can anyone advise what the part number is for a replacement sensor?
  14. Many thanks varooom for your help. Looks like cable inspection is my first port of call.
  15. When turning on car I get a message saying “The ParkPilot is currently not available” and on selecting reverse I get a loud audible tone with no visible screen of my rear parking sensors. I have connected an OBDeleven which shows a fault stating “Left rear park assist sensors, Open circuit/short circuit to ground”. Fault code: B107614. Can anyone confirm this would suggest a faulty rear (outer) passenger side sensor or does this error suggest it could be either the outer or inner sensor being faulty (or both) as I don’t know if OBDeleven diagnoses an exact location. If so, are all of the four sensors the same across the rear and could anyone give me the oem part number\s for replacement sensors or recommend an alternative. Car is a Skoda Superb III 2016 1.4TSI 150hp. Many thanks.
