I vaguely remember seeing something on Carista OBD about accelerator pedal threshold settings but can’t remember what the two options were... I’ll look later when home from work.

From memory you get a month free which is enough to play with it. i subscribed as my car is leased so I can revert changes when serviced or returned. plus more changes appear every so often.

My front fog lights are used as cornering lights. Switched them on myself using Carista module.

How long had they been on? The Fabia has a timer setting so only stay on for a few mins at most.

Had a look at my LED DRLs this eve. They have 2 leds in each sections. when side lights on, 1 led is lit. when no lights on, both leds are lit. when lights are on and indicate, one led goes out, so this is how they appear to drop in intensity.

Ah ok. Mine doesn’t have it as stock so maybe that’s why it doesn’t work. do you actually have to flash the lights or anything to activate them as stock? (my old 100HP had to do flash to pass then turn ignition off) i didn’t have the front fogs as cornering lights so switched that on, needle sweep, beep on lock, DRLs off when parking brake applied.

I’ve had Carista for almost 2 years but never seen an option to dim the DRLs. interested that you got the coming home lights to work. I’ve tried several times on my 2017 Fabia but hasn’t worked with either fog or low beam. what option have you chosen for them to come on? mines on keys out of the ignition. maybe I’m doing something wrong.

I didn't either, thinking why spend money on something hardly ever used!

Do you have electric Windows in the back? i was told the power window close doesn't work if you don't have electrics all round. i have had Carista for a year and it's pretty good. cant get the coming home lights to work though.

Looks like some of the Beta options have now come through to live version. i have now configured cornering fog lights which wasn’t available before. still haven’t worked out how coming home lights work though. there is also an option to change the dash and infomation startup logo. (got it to show VRS logo once but not sure what state it needs to be in as never seen again).

Do you have electric windows in the back? If you don’t, window open & close won’t work off the key fob, even for the front as the factory electrics are different. i didn’t spec them on mine, so it doesn’t work. (I use Carista as well, it’s good app).

First real long run in my 17plate 110TSI manual last week & pleasantly surprised at MPG. did 450+miles and was showing avg of 58mpg. (was lucky to see 25mpg in my previous car & supercharged MX5!)

My 1 month old Fabia is booked in tomorrow to have a ceramic glaze coating applied, and even though I know the first thing they will do is clean it, I couldn't take it in with rain water marks & dust on it!

Same as NyHoK. I test drove the Skoda Salesman's MC but couldnt live with those red seats! I've looked at the black grill, spoiler/splitter and also the black skoda & Fabia badges on Superskoda, but as my Black Magic is on PCP it's not worth the hassles.

Mines on a 3 yr PCP, so the only 'mods' I've done is a set of rubber car mats from Superskoda! I did buy some door sill covers as well, but not fitted them as they were smaller than I thought they would be.

I went with the Matone as less fiddly to clean!

Pardon my ignorance but does the first aid kit came free with the car? my new Fabia hasn't got one unless it's hidden somewhere...

If you search on here for Carista, I put up some screenshots yesterday of what my new 2017 Fabia SE can change. done needle sweep but few other things I hoped for aren't there. (Using fogs as cornering lights)

Yep, I found the screen saver option and set it to 10secs. Mine is in the same position as it doesn't stick on the dotted shade area.

Just been playing with my Carista and switched on needle sweep and locking/unlocking beep. these are the defaults on my car.

Used TheFlash's method to wire in my Nextbase 312GW dashcam and made the job very easy. Interestingly looking through the images people have posted mad me curious about the legality of where the Cam should be mounted. Apparently there are very strict guidelines on this, particularly within the sweep of the windscreen wipers and the screen must NOT be viewable by the driver. (I.e. goes blank whilst driving or behind the rear view mirror.) Dash Cam placement - the law Better go and move mine and my partners in her Fiat 500.

So out of curiosity when does a MY18 come in to effect? Ignore that! glosrich answered it whilst i was typing!

Brilliant picture. I looked earlier from the drivers seat and couldn't see an SD slot. Just been out in the dark at 23:45 to check as I wouldn't sleep, and there it was!!
