  1. Thanks for all this. Very helpful indeed. The car has done 66,000 miles and I have had it since Febrauary this year. I changed the oil and oil filter myself about six months ago. Most journeys are on electric, long jourtneys, including towing a caravan, (there have been many) have used petrol I am happy to do oill changes, air filter, pollen filter, brake pads and replacing brake fluid etc. However, I would would be lost on DSG gearbox and anything to do with the hybrid drive or high voltage system. Should I go to the main dealer or is a local mechanic ok for warranty? Thanks again.
  2. My 2021 Superb iV has just flashed up that it reuires an inspection service. What is involved in this? Do I really need to pay Skoda dealers' inflated prices? I am competent enough to do an oil change, check brake pads etc. Can I o the inspection myself? Is there a service schedule available somewhere? Thanks for your help.
  3. Can anyone advise please? Yesterday, as I was driving along, the 'check charging flap' message popped up. I stopped and checked the flap amd all seemed well. When I got home I went to pg the car in couldn't open the flap. After a lot of messing about I noticed that I couldn't open the petrol filler flap either. It's too much of a coincidence to think the two actuators have failed simultaneously. So, is there a fuse that might have blown? Or can anyone offer any other suggestions. This is getting quite urgent as I have some long journeys next week. Skoda Superb Estate iV, 2021
