  1. Aubrey, The fuel filter on my Yeti is located on the underside of the car. I you have a look under the car just forward of the the offside rear wheel you will see it, it has three quick release connectors. Here are the before and after pics when I replaced it. Cheers Chris
  2. I recently serviced my 2015 1.2 TSI Yeti, I had no idea if the fuel filter had ever been changed. I wondered after some nine years and 70,000 miles if I should. Examining the fuel filter showed that it was probably the original one as it was manufactured in 2014. I decided to change it as it is an easy job and the replacement from GSF was not too expensive. Having replaced it curiosity got the better of me and I opened the fuel filter to see all the crud from so many visits to the petrol station. As you will see from the pictures, what a surprise I got to find it as clean as whistle inside. my faith in the quality of fuel from the forecourts is restored. Cheers Chris
  3. Having read this thread it has stirred me into preventive action to buy a spare actuator to ensure mine never fails, strange logic I know! Anyway a search on Ebay was interesting as I found 7P0810773D But I also found another that is claimed to be interchangeable 7P0810773F They appear to be exactly the same apart from the F suffix one having a manual release cable. Both item are a little over £15 delivered. The D version clearly is the same thing without the cable fitted For those that have replaced their lock motor, would there be anywhere to hide the manual release cable that makes sense? I am tempted to buy the F version and if my lock motor ever fails should the cable is a pain just remove it. Mind you some of you might well say buy a genuine VAG and don't mess about! Your views would be interesting thanks Chris
  4. Thanks everyone for the welcome, counting the days until I collect my Yeti. I have been wanting to join the flock for over 3 years! Cheers Chris
  5. Just wanted to say hello to everyone, I don't own a Skoda yet but that will change on Saturday when I pickup a secondhand Yeti 1.2 Elegance. Looking forward to both the Yeti and spending time on BriSkoda. Best Regards Chris
