I recently serviced my 2015 1.2 TSI Yeti, I had no idea if the fuel filter had ever been changed. I wondered after some nine years and 70,000 miles if I should. Examining the fuel filter showed that it was probably the original one as it was manufactured in 2014. I decided to change it as it is an easy job and the replacement from GSF was not too expensive. Having replaced it curiosity got the better of me and I opened the fuel filter to see all the crud from so many visits to the petrol station. As you will see from the pictures, what a surprise I got to find it as clean as whistle inside. my faith in the quality of fuel from the forecourts is restored.
Cheers
Chris
