Like many before, have found the middle screws at the rear aren't long enough. Very infuriating. It's obviously a well know problem yet Skoda don't supply longer screws with the mud guards - they would add only a few pence to the cost and the mark up on the guards must already be massive. Local VAG dealer was as much use as a chocolate teapot and could only find the same length screws as I already have. Spent the afternoon looking round local shops & garages without success. Can anyone shed light on if the Halfrauds ones in the link above work okay? Wanted to get sorted today rather than waiting a few days for the postman to bring them.

Silver. 102,000 miles. Full service history. MOT December 2017. Purchased in 2010 with 29k on the clock. All maintenance under my ownership completed by the fantastic guys at Unit 18, Milton Keynes including uprating bushes to Seat ones, rear door cards sealed and ECU re-map. Cambelt & water pump changed in June 2016 (only 5000 miles ago). Has been run on two sets of wheels/tyres (summer & winters), photo shows winter wheels in anthracite, summer wheels are silver - buyer can choose which set to have. Usual stone chips to bonnet, but otherwise exterior bodywork & interior both in good, tidy order. Cracking little car, but not suitable for towing so being replaced with a Yeti.
