Hi! My Skoda 2008 Hatchback started acting very strange after having it on a regular service. * The "you forgot to turn off your light" - alarm when you open the door stopped sounding * The trunk lid is now always locked - and I have to unlock it with my remote-key to be able to open it * The time it takes for the car to turn off the lights / lock the door (after you've unlocked it and sit in your car) has been reduced significantly I ran a scan with ODB11 but found no issues. Perhaps I should try with my VCDS, as ODB11 is a bit funky with this car. Anyway - the car mechanic doing the service, refuses to accept that they've caused any of this. Any ideas of what could've happened - and what can I do about it? Cheers!

I'm guessing this would be the part number: 565071151 The brand is Skoda Looking at the official Skoda parts page here - I can see that what differs this from the one for Superb isn't much, same length, width and height, only that it's about 300grams heavier

On my Skoda Fabia it always showed driving data since the start of my last trip - but on my Superb I can only find since last fueling. Is there a way to change to last trip instead?

Hi there! The daylight driving lights has stopped working. This was many years ago - and I decided to try and take a loot at it. Previously I'd use the 'O' position and the one next to it during the day - and switch to the 'low beam' mode for night (which also illuminates the panel). One day this middle mode suddenly does nothing - so I have to switch between 'O' and low beam (skipping the one in between) at all times. According to the manual the low beam should be switched on when I turn on the engine - but it doesn't anymore. Any ideas on how I can start troubleshooting? In my hands I have ODB11, VCDS, Odis. A full scan showed no related errors though. I only have one fault code which I don't really know what to do with - Engine: "Ctrl.module faulty" with a date: 2000-01-01 hmmm. Oh yea - and the switch (fig 34.) isn't there - there is just a hole in my car - I'm thinking that it's probably illegal to turn it off in Sweden. Cheers

Thank you for the good info! That's why I'm surprised, I find none of them, well - "light assist" is there in the menu - that is probably the same as "high beam assist". So can this be updated? It looks like I have firmware "D", and I've seen there is a specific update order - and I've never seen it from "D". Is there any risk "H" would not be backwards compatible with my old system? Will the camera have to be recalibrated after update? Thank you!

Hi there! I'm trying to figure out what can be enabled on my existing hardware. This is a 2016 Suberb 3 L&K. A5: Frt Sens. Drv. Assist (R242) Part No SW: 3Q0 980 654 D HW: 3Q0 980 654 Component: MQB_B_MFK H04 0024 I have this Radar/Camera in the windscreen, and if I look at the assistants in my menu - I only have "Front Assist" enabled. Looking at this https://vwcoding.ru/en/MQB/3Q0_assistants/ it seems I might be able to enable all of these without any hardware change (retrofitting): Lane Assist, Traffic Jam Assist, Emergency Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition and even pACC (the car has ACC now). I'm pretty new at all this, and it seems I might have to update the camera module, but it's pretty hard to grasp what exactly I need to do. Thanks guys! The latest firmware I dare to update to is MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0253T_V0020171002, but I wonder what is that string in the end about V0020171002? the other firmwares don't have it. Perhaps it's possible to get the "clean" MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0253T somewhere else other than mibsolution. Also the other thing I'm worried I need to do is the Canton parametrization - but I guess the service guys can do that if I need it.

I'm an owner of a Skoda Fabia II 2017, and suddenly the light no longer started automatically when starting the car - i.e the "daylight" mode does nothing, so I have to switch manually between on and off. I an a newbie when it comes to car-fixing, but any pointers on what it could be or where I can start investigating? I have ordered a VCDL cable and it's on it's way. -- update -- I was super unclear in that question I realize. There is no "auto" or light sensor on my Fabia. What I mean is the "daylight driving lights (sidelights)". The second mode - between off and Low Beam Headlights. Previously I always had it in this mode - when I switched off the engine and pulled the key - the lights would be "off", and when I turned it on - it would be "on" - meaning I never had to care about it - but now it does nothing at all - it's always off. So I have to manually switch between off and Low Beam Headlights (previously only used for night driving). There is no fancy infotainment on this car. I’m simply talking about switch below. Dipped beam works. The one in between 0 and dipped (side lights) no longer works. There is nothing wrong with the bulbs - as they are part of the dipped beam. This mode (the one looking like a bra) simply does nothing right now. Previously it would behave like I previously described It's super annoying since I tend to forget to turn it off - if it were for that annoying sound when you open the door - I'd drain the battery every time. Any ideas where I can look?

Hey there, thank you for all your replies. For some strange reason, after letting it rest 2 days, and then starting and stopping the engine a few times re-enabled the woofer. After the forced reboot - the woofer settings did nothing - and now - it does again. Weird - But good to know if somebody else has the issue.

Hi there! I had to perform a reboot of the infotainment system - due to a weird state. After that it’s like the sound system went baseless. Almost like the woofer is disabled. Any ideas? I have a Skoda Superb Combi 2016 L&K. Software train MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0250T
