Is it worth complaining about a Halfords garage?
sandman replied to Wench's topic in General Maintenance
Known as Halfrauds. -
Test drive a 1.2 TSi you will be surprised how good the engine is,enough power for most drivers,if funds allow get the later 1.2 110PS cambelt version
-
The fact the Yeti is such a bloody good car really gets on my nerves
-
Stop/start engines are designed and engineered to do just that, Stop/Start,battery,ring gear, starter motor, modern oils all engineered to cope,if the manufacturers who spent millions on research are not to be trusted there is also a disable switch which I use every time I use the car
-
Would an EFB battery not do the job,I have one factory fit on my Yeti 1.2 TSi,seems ok and probably a lot cheaper than AGM
-
I couldn't give a toss about MPG figures,I enjoy driving my Yeti so much, can't understand why there is so much discussion about MPG,I could get a bit more MPG if I got a Hyundai i10 but I would probably not enjoy owning one.

Resetting fuel gauge & range

Don't buy one because you won't like how willing the 1.2TSi is,or how much fun it is to drive,or how it will out handle most cars on the twisty bits,or the build quality,or the fact you can easily spot it on the supermarket carpark and SWMBO would probably love driving it so you'll never see the keys anyway

I think you mean you were doing 70mph don't you

Mirrors do not fold after flat battery
sandman replied to 26DIPP's topic in Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015)
The windows may need a reset,I think you open front window fully, close and hold switch up for about 5 secs -
How did you activate this feature?
-
Fitting would be beneficial and they are very easy to fit,no need to remove rear wheels
