  1. Hi all, I have a 2017 2.0 Diesel VRS which has been remapped a bout 18 months ago. Over the last few days i am getting the coil light appearing intermittently when accelerating away then going in to limp mode Stop turn off ignition and it clears it away. Then as you set off again in various stages of acceleration it may or may not do it again. Then next day set off my drive from cold and it does it again before you hit third to fourth gear. Again key out and back in all good to go. I have bought a cheap OBD2 reader and it isnt showing any codes at all? But maxi dot shows amber cruise control display instead of white ie not available and also stop start not available on maxi dot. Key out again clears everything. I let wife take car for a few days as i travel a quite distance and didnt want to get stuck. she only had it a couple of times but she only does a 3-4 mile commute and drives like miss daisy Ive just taken it out again today from cold and it did it agin within first mile. I then decided to film the dash to see what happens. I had to really thrash it ie 4500rpm to get it to do it the second time. again key out sorts it. Any ideas?? from bit of research could it be oil pressure sensor??? I am reasonably capable of simple mechanics ie brake pad and oil change so do i need to go to Skoda and get ripped off? or can any legends on here help out with ideas I have a couple of videos of the diagnosis of it helps cant upload here as over 10mb
  2. I have similar issues. Recently going in to limp mode key out restart clears it then maybe fine or may come on within half a mile. Picking up an OBD2 just to check the codes. Is this sensor easy to change? is it just a switch or are their any oil seals etc to replace too. Any coding required?? Any help appreciated C
