  1. Picked up my Kodiaq few days ago. I was fine during handover, but "SOS Emergency Call Restricted. Workshop" alert came up before I left the dealer. I should have gone back right away, but thought it was just a one off alert.

Only thing I did was pairing my phone to head unit (Bolero). It could be the address book sync messed up with the SOS number already in the system. I don't have an entry called SOS or S.O.S in my address book, but do have an entry called EMERGENCY.

  2. Thanks Andy but sorry to hear you returned the car.

Could you please elaborate on the rear seat detail on 5 seater vs 7 seater.

Now I've added  seats inspection including sliding, reclining and folding to my checklist. (collecting the car this Wednesday)

The second row on the 7 seater is different to the 2nd row on the 5 seater.

All I am saying is inspect your rear seats carefully, slide them, fold them and go for a drive before accepting the car or you could end up in the situation I am in - a car that is not of satisfactory quality and no parts available to rectify.

The pdf you quote shows a few things that are just options.

Yes, even as an option, it would be fine - but I'm unable to find any information. I hope someone here owns Kodiaq SE will confirm.

Many websites including CARWOW also mentions about folding front passenger seat

A 60:40 split in the second row should make carrying longer items easy. With the front passenger seat folded down, the Kodiaq can transport items up to 2.8m long, too.

  4. Very long time lurker - that's almost 7 years! Start reading about Skoda Yeti since 2010, but never managed to buy one due to majority vote in family favoured other cars.

It's time to change cars again and SKODA Kodiaq is top in the list.

Hoping to stay friendly to all admins, mods and members here.

    Thank you

    Sunil
