  1. Gimme a shout if your numbers come up!
  2. I'll look into it pal. I'm 50/50 atm if I'm honest, its either continue to mod or sell my VRS. Cheers for the quick replies.
  3. One good thing though, I got the time to fit my new splitter.
  4. So this post should be full of thrills and joy at the wonder of my lovely remap, pity I experienced a bleeding blowout on the M62 :( Saying I was a little terrified is an understatement, a slew across two lanes at 70 cough mph isn't fun, especially in the ****ing rain! RAC made me a priority as I was on the hard shoulder but still took 2 hours to arrive! Best he could do was get me to a garage of choice, I said I'd like to go to P-Torque in Wolverhampton and he cracked up! So an experience was had but not the one I planned :(
  5. So my VRS has escaped the 6 month cull (I change my car a lot!) I think it's got summat to do with doing everything so well. It's a CR170 engined pre facelift example with DSG and so far its been awesome, soon to be more awesomer with a P-Torque custom map http://www.p-torque.co.uk Will tuned my previous car (123d coupe) and did an awesome job, can't recommend him enough. Future plans other than a map is to try and fit a paddle equipped steering wheel (can't find a guide so any links would be awesome!) So yeah, there it is, exciting I know!!
  6. So 6 months gone and 5k under the Octavias belt I think it's remap time! Thinking of using P-Torque in Wolverhampton, they did an ace job on my old 123d like.
  7. Thanks. Aye, just had a quick look.
  8. Haha yeah, I've made the purchase! I'm impressed so far, handles well, decent enough go and the best bit is the 45mpg avg on the way home! It's had the gearbox oil done and a recent cambelt so I'm happy. Previous owner has obviously been a large person, the bolster has taken a beating and the door card is wrinkled where his/her massive elbow has been stationed! If I feel the need I'll find a seat and door card, it's the only thing that lets the interior down.
  9. Well it's an 09 pre-facelift CR170 VRS. For the price and it's age it's pretty decent, totally fit for purpose.
