Sounds lovely - I might be in the market for a 272/280 in the near future.
Which part of somerset are you in, and does it have the front heated screen option?
PM sent 👍.

Looks stunning. Do you mind me asking where you had it done? PM if you prefer. Thanks.
Not at all Jeff, it is G.E Detailing in Evercreech, but he is also mobile now.

My wife's Fiat Panda 4x4 has a heated screen fitted that we had to have replaced back in January and the fitter said a normal screen was £80 and the heated one in ours was £450, so I suspect the Superb one to be at least a similar difference plus any coding, the switch panel, wiring etc.

i doubt i'll be letting mine go anytime soon! I love it too much and if i get the stage 2 it'll be a real sleeper then
Ha, I do really like ours too and it currently succeeds in ticking a lot of boxes, however, our circumstances change regularly with our family situation which always prompts a change of our main vehicle.
I do hope it stays longer term though, hence why I want to maintain the warranty .

yeah i'm same. Just got to wait till jan next year then it's getting mapped. Possibly stage 2
Sounds like a plan , sadly mine isn't even a year old yet and as I rarely keep a car more than a year, I don't think it'll be around by the time the warranty expires!

Thanks! Btw have you mapped your car or anything?
No problem.
I haven't touched it mechanically, just cosmetically as I want to preserve the warranty and it's plenty quick enough already.

can a car with DCC be lowered on springs without any repercussions?Yes, but I believe they're different springs to cars without, so are not interchangeable, as they are different part numbers.

Whats the ride like as i have the Sportline and thought about lowering it a tad more but wondering if it effects the comfort of the ride much?
I also have Eibach Sportline springs on mine, and can say that if anything (imo), they improve the ride slightly.
Our car doesn't have DCC and I have also changed the wheels to 20" and it still rides great.

i really like that, best colour and good splitter choice. coloured badges would finish it off.
Thanks, when we finally saw Dragon Green in the flesh, it was the only option for us!
Black badges are on the to do list but I begrudge spending £100 for just the two main badges from SuperSkoda!
It's going in for a full exterior and interior detail in the next couple of weeks and all the chrome rear badges are being removed at the same time, so that will probably be the push i need .

Haha! I'll keep an eye out for you @SummersetBoy - if you get someone flash you (in a Black Superb) that'll be me...or a mad man waving from the side of the road.
I will have to try and remember this conversation so that my wave back is appropriate!

Love the splitter on the front! was it easy enough to fit as i have been looking at one?
It was easy enough for my garage to fit!
I just sent it to them to do because it's much easier on a ramp and probably needs two people, but yes, simple to do.
Maxton do 3 versions and mine is the V2 as it follows the contours of the bumper.

Like Clarkson a fellow Yorkie he can be a bit blunt (as in James).
Gotta be blunt while you can, before honesty and humour is outlawed!
It's ridiculous how much thought I put into it before saying "racist" just in case you or someone else took it out of context or didn't understand the joke.
Glad I didn't offend Mr Blunt .

Thanks for the pic @SummersetBoy looks a lot nicer with the rear lower bit all gloss black!! Matches the rest of the gloss black bits on the sportline!
No problem. There are a couple more pics on my Instagram of it too, but I'm rubbish with technology so could only figure out how to put one in here.
It's very difficult to photograph and have it show up. Maxton do list 3 finishes i think, the gloss black, "carbon fibre", and something else which I think matches the textured finish, but I wanted gloss black for the reason you say.
It's only a small change having the exhaust surround de-textured and painted, but makes a huge difference imo.

We're not far away then - we're in Wells - born & bred in Frome, moved to Wells in 2012 to cut travel costs (back then I owned an Astra VXR). I'll keep my peepers out for a dragon whenever I'm in and around Shepton.
Ha, in Wells early at least three times a week usually, so if a flash of green zooms past, apologies in advance!

Oh, and @SummersetBoy - that Dragon Green is an AMAZING colour! I've been sorely tempted to wrap my L&K for a few months, initially in something akin to Nardo Grey - but I'll stick with black for the foreseeable...our priorities have to go into a house purchase (but not at the expense of losing the car...she's staying put...). Which part of Somerset may I ask? I'm Somerset myself - born and bred!
Thanks .
There are other things I'd like to do to ours but we're off on holiday for a month shortly so the larger things may have to wait!
We are just outside Shepton Mallet, not born but definitely bred as we moved here just after I was born, so 44 years..........what about you?
