  1. Who needs headlights when you can have a car that colour?!? What an awesome colour though... certainly stand out from the blues, blacks and silvers everyone else is driving these days.
  2. Nice. Which part of Slovakia? My wife is from Bratislava (it looks very similar to the background of this picture...Petrzalka?). She got me into Skoda, and I have a Superb L&K and she has a Fabia.
  3. The camera for Lane Assist is behind the rear view mirror. Make sure that's clean and clear - and it may be the bright sunlight affecting the way the camera can see the lines in the road.
  4. I believe that's all you get. I, too, was disappointed when I first found this out - the Insignia I had before my Superb had the full pressures on all four corners. Hey ho...
  5. Here's one for you. My Columbus (MIB2 - 2016 Superb L&K) has a dead screen and buttons, but still has radio and nav works through the Maxidot. I'm told a software update should fix - so how does that work? They say the update needs to go on an SD Card, but if the Columbus screen is dead, how can an update be installed? Does it update automatically from the SD card as long as the system is on? Just intrigued - car going back to Skoda on 17th April for the update.
  6. Tried that - but will try it again when I next go out to the car. I may also disconnect the battery for a little while and see if that helps.
  7. Nope - I've been out for drives a few times since this happened, still blank and still only able to listen to what I'm playing over bluetooth. I'm guessing (hoping) a loose connection somewhere, or even a fuse on the back of the screen (if they have them?). Not a clue - I'll mention it when I call up the dealers later for booking my MOT.
  8. Hi all Hope you're all keeping safe and well in these weird times. I was out for a drive last week when I noticed that my Columbus screen had gone blank. However, the connection to my mobile was still there (I was listening to a podcast) and volume can still be controlled from the steering wheel, and the unit in the glovebox still accepts CDs / DVDs. I've tried holding down various buttons on the unit to try and reset, to no avail. Thinking it was a fuse, I found that "touchscreen and TV" are on a 10A fuse behind the glovebox - I've changed this, again to no avail. What else would cause this? I've not done anything I wouldn't normally do. It's a 2016 model, so the older Columbus with physical buttons, as compared to the newer bigger all touchscreen models. If it's any user, it's an L&K so has the Canton and TV Tuner. It's due an MOT, so if we draw a blank I'll ask them to investigate. Thanks everso! Stay safe! Ad
  9. This is quite interesting - thanks for posting. I can now see that I have a 4x4 Superb with the 2.0ltr TDI 140kW and have 2 front, 2 side, 2 head, and a knee airbag. Wicked...
  10. Plant it and if it squirrels for grip then likely 2WD, whereas if it just goes with no hint of wheelspin and tries to rip your head from your neck, likely 4WD - although saying that, I had a haldex issue on mine and it wheelspun like a beast...replaced under warranty and all ticketyboo. I've also got 4x4 on the rear - couldn't say what the DSG lever says, and it's too darned wet outside to go out and look... Other than that, check under for rear diff and proshaft.
