What is the best MPG you have achieved?
matnrach replied to matnrach's topic in Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015)
Not too bad for a fairly heavy petrol car -
Out of interest what do people achieve when they try? On my 30mile drive home a few weeks ago I got the following. I reckon I could have got a bit more a well as I had to stop at a few traffic lights

OK many thanks

So my 2014 has nothing? My wife's old Picasso from 2010 has some sort of bag of goo that had to be renewed.
-
Sorry if this has been covered before but just wondering if there is an Adblue tank to fill or anything similar (like a bag) on a 2014 2.0 diesel model?
-
Luckily it has now turned up! Thanks for the reply

I have misplaced my spare key and would like a replacement in case it doesn't turn up. What would be the most cost effective route - I expect the dealer would be prohibitively expensive

If the Maxidot is the info on the display between the speed/re counter then it does not affect that. The reversing sensors still work with audible and visual warning

Display is actually fine. I have no issues really.

Hi The unit is still fine. No issues at all. Sound is at least as good as the standard unit with more ability customise to your liking If I were to get a new one it would have the slightly larger screen and no CD drive as I have not used it at all. Possibly worth getting the Android 8.0 version as it has a split screen function I believe which would be useful Hope that helps

No I mean the consumption is better by 5% i.e reduced amount of fuel used. I also think the engine is slightly smoother especially from cold. Not a big difference though but it is the long term damage on the DPF, EGR cooler I wanted to stop
-
I had mine done a couple of weeks ago at Shark. Fuel consumption reduced by about 5% and the rate of soot accumulation decreased by about 50%. The only issue I can see is that it now regenerates at just over 15g of soot instead of 23g. Last time it returned soot to about 3g instead of 5g after the active regen . I am constantly monitoring on the VAG DPF app. The software code definitely changed after the rollback so you can tell from that if you make a note from info on the DPF app screen

I found it the other day and turned it down as it was a little bright. It is definitely in the menu that can only be accessed when thew engine is off.

During the run today I saw about 300deg at 70mph when I could do it as the traffic was quite heavy. Interestingly looking back at the data from the previous regen , it was at 62% not 50%???? Also as the speed was mostly between 60-70mph without many accelerations my average for the journey was 74mpg! I never even got close to that in my 1.6HDI Citroen
