  1. Out of interest what do people achieve when they try? On my 30mile drive home a few weeks ago I got the following. I reckon I could have got a bit more a well as I had to stop at a few traffic lights
  2. So my 2014 has nothing? My wife's old Picasso from 2010 has some sort of bag of goo that had to be renewed.
  3. Sorry if this has been covered before but just wondering if there is an Adblue tank to fill or anything similar (like a bag) on a 2014 2.0 diesel model?
  4. Luckily it has now turned up! Thanks for the reply
  5. I have misplaced my spare key and would like a replacement in case it doesn't turn up. What would be the most cost effective route - I expect the dealer would be prohibitively expensive
  6. If the Maxidot is the info on the display between the speed/re counter then it does not affect that. The reversing sensors still work with audible and visual warning
  7. Display is actually fine. I have no issues really.
  8. Hi The unit is still fine. No issues at all. Sound is at least as good as the standard unit with more ability customise to your liking If I were to get a new one it would have the slightly larger screen and no CD drive as I have not used it at all. Possibly worth getting the Android 8.0 version as it has a split screen function I believe which would be useful Hope that helps
  9. No I mean the consumption is better by 5% i.e reduced amount of fuel used. I also think the engine is slightly smoother especially from cold. Not a big difference though but it is the long term damage on the DPF, EGR cooler I wanted to stop
  10. I had mine done a couple of weeks ago at Shark. Fuel consumption reduced by about 5% and the rate of soot accumulation decreased by about 50%. The only issue I can see is that it now regenerates at just over 15g of soot instead of 23g. Last time it returned soot to about 3g instead of 5g after the active regen . I am constantly monitoring on the VAG DPF app. The software code definitely changed after the rollback so you can tell from that if you make a note from info on the DPF app screen
  11. I found it the other day and turned it down as it was a little bright. It is definitely in the menu that can only be accessed when thew engine is off.
  12. During the run today I saw about 300deg at 70mph when I could do it as the traffic was quite heavy. Interestingly looking back at the data from the previous regen , it was at 62% not 50%???? Also as the speed was mostly between 60-70mph without many accelerations my average for the journey was 74mpg! I never even got close to that in my 1.6HDI Citroen
  13. I dont think so but you can see error codes and clear them as well as log loads of data
  14. Huge amounts but not DPF info . I believe some other cars have specific plug ins which does display DPF data but not VAG as far as I am aware
  15. Going on a long motorway run tomorrow so will look at temps. I wonder why the Torque APP does not have a VAG plug in as you can log everything with that and it would be much simpler
  16. I have the full app and I certainly don't see 380 around town . Last time I looked I was about 340deg on the motorway and the temp was speed and load (throttle) dependent Around town I think it cools right off to 200 or less from memory
  17. I think it depends on what temp the DPF is , if it passively regenerates . As I drive at 70-72mph I don't see any passive regeneration. Maybe I will go a little faster and see it if regenerates. I guess it depends on the temperature so 70-72 up a hill maybe OK. I will have to pay more attention to the app when on cruise
  18. So why did it used to regen at 100% and now 50% ???
  19. Yes I am interested in how quickly the soot build up is. If the % is to be believed, which is now in doubt, the rate increase was half with the rollback but then it regenerated at 50% so back to square one. Do we have any explanation at all? I will have a look at oil ash level and report back
  20. Did you see any regen at lower than 100% with the rollback map?
  21. Another thing is that before the rollback after a regenerates the soot went to 24% and now it is 21%. Wonder what is going on?
  22. Interestingly I have had 2 regens after the rollback I was checking the mileage and % soot after every journey and it all looked really good projecting a regen at over 500miles However both times it was showing around 50-60% at 280miles and the next time I looked it had done a regen without me knowing which must have been at about 295miles. Dont know what is going on. I will have to look at the VAG app when I approach 280miles next time. Anybody else seen this? The engine does run smoother and I am seeing a couple of mpg more. The % must be wrong now???
