po252 is a problem related to the injection pump---fuel---do a search   plenty of stuff on here and FREDS TDI   ------------ needs more explanation to get more help

I am sorry if i don't make much sense cuz I am not much of a Techy when it comes to Cars. So, what is happening is that I don't have any boost, also if i push the brake pedal once and push it again it feels like that it is getting tighter with every push, which feels like there is air in the system. Even i am confused of the code which I am getting which is related to 'fuel pump'. But with the look of it, there is something wrong the vacuum.

As i explained above the problem started when the engine ran low on Engine oil and later after filling up with it, engine wasn't turning up but was cranking, So after changning the crank sensor, it turned on. And now the issue with boost.

  2. Hello

So i am recieving an issue these days with my octavia. A few days back engine oil light came up and i turned it off. Later when i filled it up with engine oil and it was not turning on. The mechanic changed the crankshaft sensor and it turned again but i started getting a code P0252. So, i have issue with accelaration and braking. One of my friend told that there can be issue something with Camshaft. Any ideas?

  3. Thanks. Found the issue.

Five minutes with a multimeter should confirm if it's got permanent live and ground.

Assuming your correct, you need to find out why it's got no ground and fix it. There shouldn't be a fuse along the ground path so you may have a damaged wire somewhere.

  4. Hi skoda owners. I was recently faced with an issue regarding the ignition of my car, Skoda Octavia 07’, So, the workshop had to replace the ignition coupler which was melted due to some reasons. Well, now I have no issue with the ignition but which bugs me is that car radio won’t turn on. I checked the fuses, i removed the radio and what it feels like is that it’s getting the positive current but not the ground. How can i fix it?

It certainly wouldn't help as their would likely be reduced vacuum in the intake which would compromise the workings of the turbo control and brake servo.

So, ibfound the pipe which was causing the issue there were two pipes not attached to where it was supposed to. I plugged one of it cuz the second one I couldn’t find where it was supposed to go and will go to the mechanic to get it plugged. Tubo is working fine now but the brakes are not upto the mark. Also the MIL light got turned off by itself.

    Thanks for your help. Cheers

    Morning

I can't point you to any specific areas but as both thebturbo and brakes rely on intake manifold vacuum to work do you have an air leak on the air intake? Loose joint, hose clamp or splut hose perhaps?

    Regards, Mike

I guess yeah. The pipe from the air filter and air intake manifold is broken as i checked. Could that be the issue?

  7. Hi all

I need some help with my car if anyone could guide me with it. The problem which I am facing with my Octavia is that the lack of pickup. The check engine light is also "on". The Faults were - Turbo/ Supercharger underboost and something related to ERG. Now i know the function of these two but how will i be able to eradicate these issues in the car.

Another issue which i am facing is with the braking. The Power brakes is not working when the car is moving if i punch the brakes, for the first time the lever will go all the way down and without pushing the accelerator if I punch the brakes again the brakes get hard and i can not apply more than 5% of the brakes. If i accelerate a little then the brakes get easily applied.

Won't be able to get to the child lock... he said it won't open from both sides. Also, the setting you have on yours only activates/opens the driver's door: if he had that setting on his car, he wouldn't be able to open the off side rear either but he's saying it's the two nearside doors, not all three doors.

Yea right. The center locking can only get the driver side door and the door behind it, also the boot but i can not access the center lock of the passenger side and the door behind. Although, I am able to unlock the passenger door from inside (from the door handle and it gets unlocked) but not the door behind. Any suggestions?
