  1. Still enjoying my meteor grey 245. No filter on this - just the evening sun reflecting off it.
  2. I imagine the quoted 7-9 working days from arrival (on 17th) to dealership (so arriving somewhere between Monday and Wednesday, next week) still applies. Mine was in the same shipment, and is still sat at Grimsby waiting on a transporter, too. Like you I had kind of hoped I might have it this weekend, but looks sure to be next week now. I'm sure the wait will be worth it!
  3. Must be on the same ship as mine. CS told me earlier that the ship should arrive late today, and that it will be roughly a week until the dealer can hand over the keys. Dealer also rang me and said to expect to pick up at end of next week. Enjoy!
  4. 27 weeks, hah! That's nothing! I'm approaching 34
  5. I had confirmation that mine is finally built and is now waiting at the port for shipping to the UK. They're estimating I should have the car by the end of the month, which will be a grand total of ~236 days (nearly 34 weeks) after paying the deposit.
  6. Finally, I've been given a confirmed build week! I'm told my 245 will be built week commencing 30th May, which means I should get the car approximately 252 days (36 weeks) after I paid my deposit.
  7. Having been given a new Yeti on loan by the dealership, pending delivery of my VRS (bw18-ish), then having that loan car swapped for a new Karoq, I was today given a third new car! Another Karoq. Getting sick of new cars now (just kidding, of course).
  8. Don't panic, these days you can get a replacement online. www.match.com
  9. I was told to write to this address: Rod McLeod Skoda Brand Director Volkswagen Group Office Yeomans Drive Blakelands Milton Keynes MK14 5AN It's his CS team that you want working on it. In the end, I didn't need to write, as the dealership manager got it escalated for me. Good luck.
  10. If it helps, I was in a Toyota that I was planning to part-ex. I ordered early October, and when I didn't have a confirmed build week at end of December, I raised a complaint with Skoda CS (who immediately offered £500) and separately with the dealer, who offered to lend me a car from the end of January until my car arrives. I had a brand new Yeti, for 6 weeks until the engine light came on - they immediately swapped for a brand new Karoq, which I'm keeping until delivery of my own car. As I've said before, the overall Skoda experience hasn't been great, but the dealership has been fantastic - I'll have had three new cars in the first six months of 2018! Also, as I've said before, the standard CS team seemd pretty limited in what they can do. The dealership advised I get my case escalated to the UK MD's CS team who have a bit more clout. I did this, and have to say they are a lot more proactive, and give a much better picture of what's actually going on. I'm currently expecting my car to be built in Bw18, but to be honest they can take their time so long as I'm in a free car, taxed and insured by them.
