  1. To answer the question I would think that 90 percent of Octavia Mk4s are receiving visible faults. Mine is a 2021 vRS Combi 21.5K miles. When I first drove the car the handling and steering were a bit vague. I had it four wheel aligned both rear wheels were tracked correctly but pointing slightly to the Left and the Front Right wheel was toed in too much. I got rid of the stock Bridgestones and fitted 4 Michelin Cross climate 2 tyres as we were heading into winter. The handling particularly the steering was still vague. To be honest I don't think that Cross Climate 2 tyres are well suited to the Octavia MK4. In March I took the car to a specialist and got (Factory) Traffic Awareness fitted and the Farting Hippo Exhaust Soundaktor turned off. I've just fitted Michelin PS5 tyres on to OZ Racing wheels the car drives a whole lot better now. Its just 3 years old and I have extended the warranty for 2 more years as I feel its likely to suffer some sort of expensive electrical / software problem. It also comes with 2 services, MOT, AA Breakdown. I've just had to get the wheels stripped and powder coated. The inside recess behind the spokes was lacking paint, consequently corrosion and peeling was underway. Stone chips according to Skoda! Currently I get these errors:- Wipers Failed But everything seems ok. Crash Display in RED in place of the rev counter warning Limited Front Stability Lane Departure error The above clear after a stop, park and re-start the car. USB media player stopped working after the latest upgrade over the Internet its now working, RESULT?
  2. Yes mine used to do that, which was annoying. The latest update has fixed that on my vRS. You can look in notifications to see what's going on btw.
  3. Thanks I will be in touch with you soon.
  4. Hello everyone, Has anyone been able to update the door mirrors to include traffic awareness indicator lights please? John
  5. Hello, John, I've just purchased one of these to play MP3 files from a USB stick into the Bolero radio, Its got Bluetooth so a phone can be connected as well. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/313689220180 John
  6. Hello All, I am wondering if there is a "Skoda Upgrade path" for the Bolero radio or is it replace completely? I've tried MP3 files which the CD drive in the radio reads but its not very successful in cramming more than 21 maybe 25 tracks onto. It currently has a 6 CD changer in the boot which I'd like to retain and be able to use. There is NO Aux connection. I'd like to retain the use of the 6 CD Changer if possible. A USB connection to which I could plug in a Sony music player. Blue tooth. An integrated CD in the head unit. etc etc. Thanks in advance if anyone has any useful comments with pictures perhaps of their Head/Radio units mounted in the dash please. John
