  1. Put in maintenance mode and really gave it some welly.
  2. Wouldn't go in at all. The triangular bit went in and no further. Skoda just slid straight in.
  3. These are the wipers I received. In the comparison image, the two similar are the Bosch. The top one is Skoda.
  4. No, I had the same Bosch reference from Kwik Fit, National, and the Bosch website, searching both by model and by Reg No. Then I bought from Amazon and their checker agreed.
  5. Chattering madly instead of wiping. New ones are fine.
  6. Just wouldnt go on. Clip is of similar design but with several differences. Skoda ones just slotted straight in.
  7. I needed to replace my wipers (2020 Superb iV L&K)and a search on every site I could find, searching by model and Reg No gave the same result. All said the front blades for Mk 3 from2015 to present were the same (Bosch A864S or equivalent), so I bought a set for just under £20. They didnt fit. I went to my local dealer and they looked on their system to find my wipers were a different part number to a 2016 model and took over £50 for a set that worked. When I said they seemed really expensive, the reply was " Yes they are. Difference is that these ones fit"
  8. My previous Superb was a "Director's personal car" which had been used "only for commuting". I negotiated an extra discount when I showed them the Youtube video of the car being tested by a journalist with "Press Office" on the number plate.
  9. Bought from Marshalls, Northampton who said it was the Finance Manager's car. Marshalls in Bedford did the service. May be a tax scam, but list was £42k (I'm hit by the "luxury" rate of VED) and I paid £29.5k.
  10. Sorry. Didn't explain. It was a Skoda manager's company car. I bought it with 7800 on the clock. I've only added 1100 miles in the time I've had it.
  11. Only had the car since end of August, so no rotation.
  12. That's why I was concerned at the low mileage achieved. I normally change at 3mm and after only 8900 miles we're nearly there. Fortunately, I got an offer of 15% discount on 4 tyres, so will be swapping them for Crossclimate 2 in a few days.
  13. I'm a 73 yr old with Rospa Gold and IAM. I don't punish my tyres. However, I'm the second user and the first was a Skoda manager, who put on 7k of the miles, and I've no idea how he drove.
  14. Centre is 3.6. Edges are 4.5 on both front tyres. I asked the engineer if it was over-inflation and he said that it wasn't and was normal wear. I think I'll skip rotating the tyres as I used to have Winter/Summer wheels and more recently Crossclimates. I can't remember the last time I went through the Winter on Summer tyres. (At least 20 years), so I'll just bin them before the end of Nov, and go Crossclimate 2.
