  1. There is probably a caveat to that of “provided that you’re prepared to wait for it, as if Skoda don’t have the parts, you can hold your breath till you turn Energy Blue but you’re not going to get them”.
  2. iV80 Suite, Energy Blue HUD Drive Assist Basic Park Assist Plus 125KW Charging Heat pump Ordered 25 Une 2021 Collecting TOMORROW!!!!
  3. Rather what we thought, too. Most annoying thing is forgetting to remove the Mickey Mouse aerial topper before they scrapped it!
  4. Wife's C'eed written off two weeks ago while parked (someone blinded by the sun flat out didn't see it, hit it loud enough to be heard at the back of the house and knocked it back about 10'). She now has... ...a '14 Octavia 1.6 ELEGANCE TDI estate in black with just about everything but a reversing camera. And she is just a little bit pleased: I spotted it on AutoTrader the day we figured out the C'eed was likely to be a write-off (nearside front wheel looked decidedly off kilter), and we pounced the day Admiral's Total Loss team called. I am officially In Her Good Books.
  5. If you drop one in your cart at Halfords webstore, and go to check out, you get the option to add installation for 'from £30', which memory says now I think about it is what I paid.
  6. Can't remember off the top of my head, but I'm in there today for something else so I'll ask.
  7. Yes they did. I'm dropping it back to them next week anyway, as the mic appears not to work on the hands free kit.
  8. Just had a Pure Highway 600 fitted (by Halfords): they connected it via a piggy back fuse but seem to have done so to one that's switched on with the ignition. Makes listening when parked a bit of a pain, and also makes a very audible thump when turning off. I understand it's not possible without excessive degrees of cleverness to have it come on with the radio (CAN bus and all that), but is it sensible to piggyback it on an always-on fuse (say, the radio) instead? If so, which?
  9. Back after a long hiatus. Based in Peterborough, driving my much-loved Roomster SE TDE 1.9 in Rosso Brunello with after-market Pure Highway 600 as the only real mod. Wife has had a Mk1 Fabia and a '55 Octavia, but moved on to a '13 C'eed which she's now regretting :D
