  1. In a month I think I’ve had it 5 times reversing out of my drive, in a supermarket car park, once passing a cyclist (safely - I’m a cyclist myself) during a 3 point turn, and pulling into a friends drive when it thought I’d hit a wall (front). Driving me nuts
  2. F@@@ing thing is driving me nuts. Activated when passing a cyclist (being a cyclist myself I was giving him plenty of space), when parking / pulling into a tight space I’ve worked out you can turn it off but have to do this every time you drive; I thought you could make it less sensitive but if so I can’t work it out. Any ideas? Thanks
  3. Thanks - it’s not the cable as it works fine without the plug. I’m going to wire in a 40 amp wifi timer, hopefully that will sort it
  4. Driving me nuts - listening to radio, go to car play for Google maps, and it switches radio off! Is there a way to have car play and radio at same time? Was never an issue with my 2018 model Thanks
  5. I’ve had my PHEV for a few weeks, and generally really impressed, especially now I’ve worked out how to turn off the distracting and annoying ‘safety’ features. I’m having some issues charging - I’m using a 3 pin cable into a smart timer plug (Tapó) to benefit from overnight ev tariff; however this seems to upset the car (not always) and charging light goes red and car doesn’t charge. App shows ‘charging status unavailable’ or similar. It seems car doesn’t like the smart plug (or a mechanical timer I have tried - this is also flaky) possibly because they are only rated at 13 amps so quite low for constant 2.8kw or so. Any thoughts? Anyone got a reliable solution? Thansk
  6. Thanks - I’d wrongly assumed 200bhp with 100 bhp on battery meant 100 bhp if running in petrol! Thanks for clearing this up for me! so effectively it’s the mild hybrid with an extra battery….
  7. Just trying to work out how this works . Say 500 mike trip in Europe . Presumably battery will run out leaving you with an underpowered 100 horsepower petrol engine in a large car full of people and cr@p - I mean very important luggage? what sort of range can you expect in hybrid mode? thanks
  8. Hi Built in sat nav seems to be working intermittently - for a few days it had me located 40 miles from where I was, and wasn't moving. Has now started working again When I plug in phone via car play, google maps/waze change from correct location to sticking me in middle of field somewhere. Unplug phone and location jumps back to correct position. Have done a restart of infotainment system, and software update any ideas? thanks 2018 SEL

  10. Sorted - surprised no-one else has had this issue the pin in the boot the latch goes round has a sleeve on it which is meant to rotate when the latch engages . Ours was seized, so it tried to lock and couldn’t wd40 to the rescue local garage sorted it while car was in for service
  11. no - it's not that! I did check IMG_0.MOV
  12. Hi Intermittently but getting more regular, boot closes then opens a few mm, so it rattles about. Interior lights stay on and boot open warning appears on dash. Anyone had this? Any solutions? thanks
