Thanks but no thanks as I have found in the past most motor factors use the cheapest parts they can find which in the long run do not last and if you have to pay someone to do the job it works out much more than buying a genuine part and fitting once, II just thought that someone might have part numbers for the original bits that I could buy online, our main dealers are 20 miles away and must have muppets working in the parts department
Most motor factors usually have different makes of the same part, Cheap, mid range or top quality. If you go in there asking for the cheapest you will get crap but ask them for a decent make and they will be able to supply it

I was told you couldn't just do the front pipe with blanking plates ?
I did on mine and it works fine

I just did this to my other halfs Ibiza 1.2tdi, I bought a kit from ebay but the electronics box only lasted 3 months before it went faulty and brought the EGR fault back. I just took it to a tuning place last weekend who removed it from the ECU. Car runs lovely again and fault free!
You only need 2 blanking plates, the ones that remove the egr pipe from the front of the engine near the oil filter. Really easy ti fit
Hope that helps

What year is your car? My DPF is at the top of the engine I have a 2010 1.6tdi elegance model. The break in your exhaust appears to be after the DPF.
I drove mine for 2 weeks with the exhaust and glow plug light on and eventually it went into limp mode and wouldnt go above 30mph, I really struggled to save the DPF but eventually i managed it with a cleaner and forcing a regen with VCDS

it turns out the one I showed in earlier post was the correct sensor, All fixed and running beautiful again!

From what ive found it seems its the sensor marked with the red arrow, The garage had to use my old one as the replacement never came with it. It would make sense this would be the problem as its the only sensor thats been touched considering they have broken numerous things fitting this turbo I guess this got broke too!

there is a sensor in the turbo that the garage had to switch from my old turbo to the replacement, this wouldnt be the sensor wold it?

Which one would be circuit 1 bank 1?
thanks for the help

Hi everyone,
ive a 2011 fabia 1.6 tdi elegance. Recently the turbo let go and I had a garage fit me a replacement. Since getting the car back I have fault code P0544 exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 circuit 1. So I’m going to replace it but I’m unsure of which sensor it is I ha e spoken to TPS and they say it has 3 sensors in the exhaust but can’t tell me which one it could be, apparently there is 3 different plug colours orange, black or brown
could anyone tell me which it is likely to be?
Thanks!

I used the bottom left empty spot in the fusebox (traditional size fuses not the mini ones) , Its an ignition live so only powers once the car is started
Anyone tried to fit Golf mk5 seats in a Skoda Fabia mk2?
in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
