  1. Mine is showing this problem now too. Has anyone had to pay for a repair to the locks? How much are we looking at? Thanks.
  2. Yes, cruise control was standard on my SE-L. I'd probably go for the ACC as an option if I were to order again.
  3. @postman I've had a look over the brochure. I'm not sure where I got that from. Must have been a sales rep. Disregard, sorry!
  4. Yes fitted as standard. The option is to have bigger paddles (you don't need that). I don't use them very often. Sometimes as an alternative to a kickdown on a flat road. More for fun than anything :-)
  5. Got mine from there, also a long way for me. I drove down to collect. All good.
  6. Well, it's take a long time to get them on. But the Thule 9585 fit perfectly! I think some other bars will give more space, but these look great IMO. Olly
  7. Most of my cables didn't work. Once I had the right cable, it sorts itself out easily enough.
  8. Your usage may vary, and you can cache map areas. I like putting it on even when I know where I'm going (for the traffic). I probably get through 100mb a month.
  9. I think it's very hard for any 'old school' Sat Nav to compete against the waze, gmaps, apple maps. Their routing, traffic information etc is realtime and carried out on massive compute clusters. My advice, carplay / android auto :-)
  10. As @RoystonVasey says, hang on in there @Rimshax. It's an awesome car (once you get it).
  11. The car has to make it's way to the dealer. Once the dealer has it they give it a going over (clean, checks etc) and set up a slot for collection. In my case it was about 2 weeks from arrival at UK port.

    KESSY Logic

Yes exactly this, you have to be careful about the side of the handle you have contact with.
  13. There has been a lot of demand on that engine. Was it just the edition, or was it the other models too?
  14. This is great news! Apple carplay is good but apple maps not so much, but I have an iPhone, so maybe I'll take the spare android phone out of the car someday. I find that after using waze, google maps or even apple maps that the onboard satnav feels very dated.
  15. It's the first automatic I've owned in over 20 years motoring (though have hired many autos when abroad). The Karoqs DSG is fantastic and enables the cruise control, speed limits etc. I would not go back to a manual now.
  16. Spotted an SE in Cresswell Northumberland yesterday. That takes my tally of seen in the wild to 3.
  17. My dealer set this to late for me on collection as "it's annoying otherwise". I've moved it to the middle setting, it seems fine.
  18. Skoda's free insurance was too much of a bother for me. As @westie38 says, you can change car on your insurance. Once I got in the new car, the insurance expired on the old car. Just what I needed, could have done it anytime during the day.
  19. Yeah I'm a month in. It's a fantastic car. I even took a pic today. You're getting a DSG right? They've really got that right IMO.
  20. Nope, and I actually had the aircon on over the weekend (for a change)
  21. It was very hard to understand what was being offered. Basically it's a chocolate teapot. Android Auto for me :-)
  22. Yeah as @Michael G say's just get an adapter. I've got one like this near the gearbox. It goes pretty much flush and has usb slots. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0751FWHZR
  23. My main phone is iPhone and the apple maps is poor (IMO). So I got a data sim from three and a 128gb sd card. I use android auto, audible and google play music. Also means my wife is set up too.
