Thanks for your advice 👍

Thanks for your info. Up until two months ago I have never experienced condensation problems with the car. The only thing that has changed is the guy who valet's my Koraq has started using a different glass cleaner on the inside of the windscreen and I do not know wether that can be the problem. So I will ask him to just use a window leather and a micro fibre cloth to finish, then if the problem does not recur then I will know what has been the problem. I shall update my page in due time Regards Kevin

What can be causing excessive internal condensation on my windscreen .

Hi Panther, I have been told if your battery is not fully charged it will not allow the system to switch off the engine when queuing, and as the car had been unused for a week it would not be charged up sufficiently for stop/start system to work . Because the Koraq could be unused for possibly 2 weeks at a time I hope it does not cause any problems with other operations which require a 100% charge. Thanks for your input. Regards Keith

Thanks for that. THX

When this is your first experience of this it is a bit puzzling. So thanks to all the helpful advice everyone has given me. Cheers from Keith

I am glad to know it's not something personal from skoda to me. THX

Thanks for the explanation gents. I much appreciate your information. Thanks.

I had got the auto stop sign showing off. So if it is a battery problem is this a basic design problem with the car or a fault with my car which has only got 900 miles on the clock?
-
Have had the car two months now and yesterday was the first time this has ever happened.

I have a edition 2ltr dsg 4x4 and when I stop at lights or in traffic queues etc instead of the engine stopping while stationary it keeps on ticking over.Has anyone else had this happen with the stop/start system ?
-
Well it seems like it is something you lose when you have the canton and sunroof. On reflection I think I can find somewhere else to keep my glasses. Thanks to all for your input.
-
I do have the canton system so you are probably right. Its hardly a major problem but it is good to have a dedicated place to keep your glasses.
-
On my Edition there is no catch to open a compartment and there are 4 little vents on the surface. Is that how yours is configured?
-
Does anyone know if there is a designated space to keep a pair of glasses on a karoq edition 2lt dsg 4x4.
