  1. Afternoon strange question but would anybody have any idea how many needle bearings are in the rockers I have come to dismantle the top end and have found where the 4 rockers have snapped the bearings have come out and I have a couple which are intact but the center is loose,I’m just wondering how many could be in each one just to make sure I find them all, there Appears to be 12 in each but unsure if it is supposed to be filled completely with the bearings. Thanks in advance for any help given Chris
  2. Thanks for that information,Yes I have just found out that there needle bearings in the rocker which I wasn’t sure about as I found quite a lot floating around when I came to look at mine. Thanks again
  3. Hi mate, did you ever find out the problem ?
  4. Good afternoon, I'm looking for some advice please on my skoda superb 2.0 cffb. I have an issue with some rockers where they have snapped due to a failing water pump and belt and just wondered if it was possible to replace the Brocken rockers while the cam is still in place. Thanks for any advice given
  5. He is apparently going to see if any damage to the head and if there is replace where need
  6. Hi mate and thanks for your information,I haven't had a compression test done as of yet as the guy who did the belt and water pump and timed it up said he can't continue with it so I'm having to look at getting someone else to look at it. Some one mentioned they have a issue with the rockers going but I'm unsure about it
  7. The car stopped a couple of weeks ago with a suspected timing belt fault as the car would crank over but the top pulleys weren’t moving. The water pump had gone causing the problem but have had a new water pump and timing belt fitted but won’t start
  8. The car just stopped and i pulled over then the recovery guy just clicked it over with the starter for a split second
  9. You could just hear it trying to turn but the belt wasn’t moving at all
  10. Thanks for that, that was the information i was given as the timing belt seems to be ok but you can here the crank turning but the top sprockets and belt are not
  11. On the crank pulley, i have been told they think it’s sheered off as it a fail safe on the 2013 cffb engine
  12. Good evening, would anyone have an idea if there is a woodruff key on a Skoda superb cffb 2.0 please
  13. Thanks for your comments, it was mentioned to me by someone else the suggestion of the egr as they said that could be what was causing the wrong reading from the fuel pressure sensor
  14. Good morning guys. I have a 2013 skoda superb 2.0 diesel with a rough idle.I have scanned the car and have found a couple of codes and just wondered if the egr could also be causing the code. Many thanks for any help. Chris

  16. Hi and thanks for that, at the moment it’s going fine. I know that fault has come but but i’m still unsure if it also has something to do with the dualmass flywheel and it knocked it out for a while. I will keep an eye on it but thanks for your help 😬
