Hi, I recently purchased a 2019 Fabia SEL with DSG. My first automatic. Pulling away and the gear changes had a pretty clunky delay. I found the instructions via Google search and gave it a go. What a night and day difference. The car pulls away buttery smooth and so are the gear changes. I did the hold the accelerator down for 20+ seconds but I'm going to try 60 seconds tonight to see if there is more of an improvement.

Hi, is the de-flapped air box a DIY job or a new part purchase?

Hi, every time I clean the car I notice the rear windows have dropped slightly. I have positioned the levers so they are pointed at the boot so the weight of the lever is effectively rolling the window up. But as they are so light this has no effect. Has anyone got any ideas or found weighted replacement knobs? Thanks.

Hi, I'm looking at upgrading the standard speakers in my Monte Carlo estate. Any reccomendations on makes and models of speakers that would take a bit more power and sound better? Not after a subwoofer. Thanks

Fitted the brighter halogens on mine. Philips or osram. Can't remember now. Also upgraded the sides, fogs and driving lights to led. The Leds made the most difference. I always have the front fogs on with headlights or side lights as they give a good spread on the road.

Fitted the new Sky Blue Alloygators today,

Had my 1.6 tdi 105 Monte Carlo re-mapped beginning of November by AMD Tuning. Stage 1 adaptive. Well pleased with the results. No issues so far. I had already fitted a K&N air filter element and a straight through CAT back Power Flow exhaust. Standard was 117.2bhp with 214.6lb-ft torque. After re-map was 149.8bhp with 250.8lb-ft torque.

Finally fitted the wind deflectors, the new TDI badge with the red I and the BRISKODA stickers on the rear quarters. Also thought I'd take some pics now she's clean.

Ordered HEKO deflectors now too as they look much better than the Skoda original ones. Also have that notch in them to avoid that plastic bit that sticks out of the sloping part of the window frame. What is that for anyway? Lol
