Pedropete

Further to the above problem. Took to an auto spark I have used for years. put on his computer and came up as timing chain/belt loose or worn. Asked was it noisy on starting. Very noisy especially when starting from cold. have been quoted £250 -- £300 for a change of timing belt by a garage. does this sound right?

My Fabia Mark 2 just out of body repair shop. Front and rear bumpers resprayed. Yellow engine symbol warning light on permanently when collected. Does not seem to have same power as normal. any possible connection or just a coincidence?
